day before yesterday
punkin stopped my heart this morning - first am test popped up a 39! i started to run for the high carb and then thought i should retest. that one was 367. scratched my head and wondered which one was accurate, so i poked the guy one more time - 351. went with that one - 2 out of 3, you know.
poor guy - 3 pokes in a row followed by a shot all at 7am on a saturday morning. what a way to start the day.
but he got fed, so the pay-off was good in his mind.
he's back to sleep on the living room floor right now. i can hear some little snores - one thing i've noticed disappeared very quickly after the SRT was the breathing sounds called "stridor" caused by the excessive tissue growth in the throat. people had said that some of the acro symptoms would disappear, and that one went almost immediately. no more rattly breathing. his feet are still as big and floppy as ever, but at least he can breathe freely!
anya's snoozing at my feet too. makes me wonder why i'm the only one in the house that's awake!
