Good Morning LL!! ~O) ~O) ~O) (yum - a Mannie special: perfect for a Monday), and Happy Monday!
LL beans! It is I!, Mannie, kitteh barista! For today I proudly offer Mannie's special 10 hour energy coffee, AND triple shot Breve's made from Sun-Dried Sumatra Rasuna beans. For my mocha fans: a VENTI Quad Cimmamum and Frango Mint infused white mocha/mocha blend with Frango chocolate chips melted within, topped with a cimmamum whip garnished with cimmamum sprinkles, white chocolate curls and frango mocha drizzle..... PRIMO! Only the best for all my customers....... OOOOOOOOOO! OH! Tea infusions too, by request. They is primo too! I SWEAR! Today: minty cimmamum chai!

Yesterday was slide day in MannieLand... the alpha zone and on down the color scale. It was a bounce from the pretty low/mid level blues he had the day before, and it was nice to see that he didn't stay up there long. Once this bounce clears I believe a dosecrease is in order. We've had some great blues on this, but not enough. I know he needs time to settle into anything, so hopefully we have done that and it is time to increase. So... will ponder this a bit today, and see when would be good time to do that. It's tough, as I am often not home much. Probably like most of us... ;-) We hope for a good day today, more blues would be so cool! Mannie - here's to you, some very strong feel better vines. Lubs ya big guy! cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. Mannie had a visitor yesterday - my DS stopped by for breffis, and to work on his taxes (my 'puter houses the program). Anthony was the one who adopted Mannie from the shelter 16 years ago. Those two bonded on the spot, with Mannie jumping into his lap at first sight, and purring up a storm. We could hear that purr from outside the visiting room door! :lol: :lol: So of course we had to bring him home. anyways... It was nice for those two to hangout for a while yesterday. DS was the breffis chef. Mannie sat/laid on the kitchen floor, hoping beyond hope that some of that Hollandaise sauce and that bacon and those eggs would hit the kitchen floor.... sorry Mannie...a no go! He got chicken instead, hand fed by his buddy. It so reminded me of Nicholas and Mannie today. :-D :-D Mannie had a good day. Surprisingly he wanted to go out, after DS's visit, and made two or three trips onto the deck to get some sniffs, and one foray our into the yard to check his domain. He had a great time while he was there - hit all four corners of the yard, checked everything, secured the perimeter, sat in the grass for the longest time, just watching. It was fun to watch his nose... sniff sniff sniff, with that elevated head pose they do when they sniff, and a case of squinty eyes, Loved it! It was nice to see him enjoy the time there. Test was good this morning, as was the shoot. Appy was good: he ate well. :cool: 98% Close to normalcy in MannieLand, still working, and hoping, on that last 2%.... :-D

I had so hoped to be able to make this a hiking day,,, but wow, the weather seems to be deteriorating, and I need to decide if I want to run the risk of getting soaked or not... we shall see hoe the morning evolves. I could always be working on taxes I guess. BLECH on that!

Hey everybody! I AM BEAT! WOW on carnival last night and the fireworks at the winter palace. Woo HOO! We sure had fun. Rusty lives in such a great place. Uhhhhh... but how about some WARM today - like the beach or a pool, or the dunes... Someplace too we can grill and stuff. What'd'ya think? You guys in? let me know - I am ready for anything!~~ Mannie

i should have done mine this past weekend, but ummmmmm... they didn't get done.

see how things go with mannie. i think you're right about a dosecrease...

Morning Jill ~O) ~O) ~O) yeah I know on that "taxes" thing... THX on Mannie. This has been difficult with Mannie, he does not follow the rules... we will wait out his bounce, see how that goes, but I suspect/know he needs more. If it weren't for all the other medical issues I wouldn't hesitate.

It is great to see that Mannie is doing his old things and acting like his old self. How neat that your DS could come for a breakfast visit! Sounds like everyone had a fun time. Hey Mannie, thanks for that great triple shot this morning!! Needed it!

Thanks for your words of encouragement in Rusty's condo this morning. I wish the fuds issue were simpler. But yesterday's vomit of the Cowboy Cookout confirmed that beef doesn't agree with him. And fish/fish oil gives him an asthmatic allergic reaction. So we are limited to poultry, and so many of the varieties of "chicken" have "fish" in the list of ingredients!! :o I haven't tried venison and I have a can of EVO 95% venison, so when things calm down around here I may offer some to him. My go-to food remains FF T&G! Rusty likes it better than Wellness.

Hoping your weather improves so that you can get out. Here it is supposed to rain/sleet today. I have to start in on the taxes, too! I've conveniently put them out of my mind.

Good luck with the dosecrease when you decide to do it.

That +2 looks promising for Mannie! Good luck on the dose crease, are you doing the whole .25u step up or just a drop?

Blech! on the weather and on your alternative, taxes! :? But if DS is using the puter you can't! :lol: :lol: Sounds like a great morning at your place though! Poor Mannie! All those great smells and not even a little piece of bacon! Is bacon bad for FD cats? I suppose it depends on how they cure it.

Nice on the yard patrol again, get out there while the weather permits, Mannie.

Mannie! Not real warm at the dunes either, but that means the lizards are slow! We could catch a few, do some sliding and grilling and the head to FL for some nice warm basking! Yeah, the carnival was great, but my toeses was frozen! -- Tess (a'chew)

Morning Ella ~O) ~O) ~O) It is good, on the old routines. He seems to feel ok, but this muscle thing and the potassium is a bit trying. I hope for improvement soon there is some, but he ash a ways to go. and yes on yesterday - it was alot of fun. I know on the fuds.... it is such a hassle. I am glad that Mannie can tolerate fish, as it seems to be what he will eat these days. sometimes beef is good: last week it was, this week he won't eat it. aiyee!!! I feel for you being limited to poultry - that really makes it tough. I hope he likes the venison. weather iosn't so great, but north it is better, and dry. So w will head there and hope they are right. :cool: THX on the dose... soon I think!

I know.... poor Mannie! no bacon, a major bummer as he LOVES bacon. ;-) I always thought it was bad for cats... hmmmm... need to check, but would agree that it depends upon curing. on the dose: probably just a drop, as I have found that one drop can really shake things up. of course that was then this is now, and things have changed, and guess better to be safe... i am off to hike,. up north wher it should be "dry". it is wet here, and I so do not want to tackle taxes.... blech!

What a sweet story of DS and Mannie. And he cooks breffis too! Beautiful +4! Boy oh boy is that last 2% being stubborn! Hopefully a dose increase will help that to come back. Enjoy your hike!

340 @ +11. I wonder what he did while I was out and about. Inquiring minds want to know! :-D I had a great hike - about 5 miles, to one small lake and a few ponds up north near Anacortes. It was supposed to be partially sunny, but alas.... the weather dudes made an error. :shock: so I got a little wet. :roll: :roll: Not too bad though, more of a light drizzle than anything else. Ity was a fun hike, lakes were nice. I will try and post a couple of pics in Mannie's condo tomorrow.

Hi Michelle - yup: woo hoo for pink! and THX - he did remember, they both do. THX on the increase. We will see how today goes for the PM cycle. THX: day was great, weather remained status quo, but we went anyways... :cool:

Hi Anne - THX on Mannie and DS. They were the original best buds, stayed that way until DS got his own Place. Now it's Mannie and Nicholas. and yes on the last 2%. He's doing well, but the issue that the potassium is for remains - some days he's good, others we are back to square one. so we wait.... and THX!: hike was fun - I enjoyed it.

That's nice you got to have breakfast with your DS and Mannie got to share some chicken. I hope Mannie keeps sliding down for you. I'm glad you got to get a hike in today, even if you did get a little wet.

Hi Carla - THX, it was a good time yesterday. I wish we could do them more often. Hike was nice, and I agree - a little wet was OK. ;-) Looks like Mannie is headed down too.

Hi Michelle. How nice that you got to have breakfast with DS.....and he did chef duties, even. I'm sure Mannie was hoping he'd be a sloppy cook and drop some yummy crumbs. :lol:

Have a nice evening. Hope Mannie comes down some more. I know it's not all about numbers, especially when he's feeling good and doing his old things, like checking out the yard, but still, we like the yellow and blue...for now. :smile:
