Doing well all P's in place sigh I am really going to miss Bug I know she is going to get way more attention in a only cat home but ....well but she came to me out of the woods so guess even though I am happy about this have so say I am having a sad moment too kinda like when i sell my kittens I will be down today even though its for the best :YMSIGH: :YMSIGH:

I agree Lisa. Bug found you, and you did well by her. She will be happy in her forever home.

I've been wondering how Do Lou is doing with the dresser gone. I wonder also how in the world he even knew to jump up in it. How did he know it was something to get up on?

((((Lisa)))) She will always love you Lisa...you saved her! I will never forget that day! You brought her home even though a kitty was the LAST thing in the world you needed! You made room for her and you made do with the situation. It was always your intention to find her a loving home....but we do grow attached to them, don't we?
You did the right thing Lisa...and even though you are down for awhile, it will be okay in the end, right?

Well Pat this post just made me cry well actually I am crying as I type part of course because of this what you wrote and Bug just left too I know she is going to a animal person she has worked at our clinic for a long time, and she will return her if bug is not right for them. And yes I get so attached to everything that is why in sooo many ways I have for some years now wanted to get out of showing and breeding but DH is not ready yet but its just so hard to sell kittens and even harder to place adults I am letting a 2 yr old female go next weekend and another kitten go next week so even though you get wonderful feedback about how much they are loved my heart still breaks hence why I sometimes have gotten to the point kinda wondering if this is too much stress for me its just hard...... :cry: :YMSIGH:

Hi Lisa, Pat has said it all so well. You are Ladybug's hero and she will never forget what you did for her: you saved her life, and you found her a good home. And it is really neat that she will remain in your community and that you and her new beans are friends. We wish all the best for Ladybug in her new home. And may the tears of parting that you shed today turn into tears of joy for Ladybug as she adjusts to her furever home.

p.s. I think I have figured out what to do about shipping the meter to the p.o. box. I'll just include the box no. along with our street address and hopefully the post office won't return the package to the sender!

Well the story of the dresser well for the nights that followed he was so frustrated that he was gone he seems to sniff his way around so I am guessing everything has a smell Barb for that is how he navigates when he is out he is out with me now in a area he does not have memorized and he is sniffing away. Each side of my bed and the area surrounding the bed has cat furniture at bed level for him to just walk right on too my entire room is I guess Do Lou handicapped accessible. He found the dresser yesterday its by a table by my TV now so he did get on it just had too but its on he other side of the room and there is no where for him to go but back to the table so I think we have everything safe now I think and now before jumping he always puts his paw out to feel for things first.

I thought the idea was to keep him off your bed, tho. Or was he jumping from the dresser onto the headboard?
Am I being too nosy? I need mysteries to be solved in my head :lol:

Nice start today for Do Lou. You guys are amazing - it is so great that you have made Do Lou's space safe, but accessible for him. very nice.

I am so glad that you were able to find a home for Bug - sad to let her go, but all that has been written already here today is so true.

No DL eats and does everything on my bed he was falling off the headboard. The dresser was how he got up on the headboard. and no never too nosy :lol: :razz:

Lisa you & DH are my Heroes--I could never part with any animal I have had, as I have loved everyone of them- BUT-you are giving each Kitty a good home, so Look at how Much you are Spreading the Love Around!!! I think that's a Noble thing to do in this world--You have such a Big Heart--You were Bug's 1st Momma, and now she has a new home & new beans to enchant!! No she will never forget her rescuers.
You give people unconditional Love with every kitty who gets a new home...Be proud of that! HUGS from Us!!

Lisa, thank you for the explanation of Do Lou and the bedroom furniture in my condo.. I can't even walk past the cedar chest near my bed without banging my knees, and it's been there for 24 years. :lol:
I can only imagine how you feel, selling/ rehoming a kitten/cat. Even when you know they are going to a good forever home, you've invested love into them.
I too, remember when Ladybug came out of the woods and went into your car. I hope I'm remembering correctly. You've done a good, good thing, Lisa :smile:

you are an amazing person...and i think that it has a lot to do with how wonderful Do Lou is!
