It looks like I'm going to have a low PMPS, since Daphne is @ 58 +9. I feed her LC 1/4 can of 5.5 oz after her test, as usual. I usually feed her about two more times, about 1/8 of 5.5oz, +10, +11, (because she is not a food spiker), but I'm going to try and put it off till her dinner time 3hrs. from now.

I just hope she will not go too low for her PMPS, so I'm not sure if I can stand to make her numbers go down more. nailbite_smile ANY ADVICE :?:

I didn't think Vyktor was a food spiker either but he has surprised me a couple of times, food will have some effect even if it's not a huge one which could lead you to making a bad choice come shot time. I assume you don't feed Daphne every hour so I would be making a habit of not feeding at +10 or +11 if I were you. Let her have her last meal for the cycle at +9.5. That way she gets used to not eating in those last couple of hours as well, poor little Daph must be feeling worse than Vyktor to miss out on food now because hers is an expected meal - well two actually that she's missing out on.

You're definitely doing something right though, you're both doing so well :mrgreen:

Thanks Serryn, her +11 is in a few min. Good advice too, I have to get her used to not eating at +10 and 11. She just loves her new food so much. She was on dry food before her diagnoses, because she never would eat the wet. I was so surprised to see her go for this food like she did.

OK, so if this +11 is lower than the 58, I'm going to be scared to death, and I don't know how to bump! I'll repost maybe. (I don't see a bump icon?)

This equates to no change, you'll have to wait and see what happens at +12 - the suspense continues...

Posting a reply = bumping anyway and don't worry eyes are on you...

What's the lowest you have shot?

I was just looking at Daphne's ss, I see you shot yesterday PM at 58 was that after feeding at +10 and +11?

Yes, Serryn, it was after I feed her the 1/4 or 1/8th can of 5.5oz

I sure hope Daphne is on a mission for a reduction, cause her mom is just getting more and more @-) actually it not hypnotized I'm going for here, its more of a "crazy" face I'm looking for. nailbite_smile .

If you haven't noticed by now, I'm a panicer.

This worries me a little- in situations where you are unsure better to not shoot unless you get advice that it's ok to do so, you want to keep Daphne safe :smile:

What's the countdown until +12?

Sandy, you know, I was wondering the same thing (still looking for that "crazy face" :lol: )!
It could be that we got some snow last night and the roads are supposed to be icy tonight, and my DH isn't here, in fact, I'm also worried about him, he is skiing and so maybe since I'm alone and I didn't know if I would have to make any emergency visits, I can't drive on bad roads.
Should I be on the couch for this :lol: As Daphne is now washing herself and will be sleeping in no time, her mom is still on the ceiling! :lol:

Great job of handling Daphne's pre-shot. Your monitoring let you see that her numbers were on the way up. The first few times you shoot green are unnerving. You'll keep at it and it will get easier.
