2/11 Carbonel AMPS 241 +12 302

Hello,
Thank you for the advice. I have read all the stickies but things kept changing and then Carbonel was ill as well. I work until 2pm everyday so not much chance of a morning test, although today my husband was home (as he is Mondays and Wednesdays) so he got a reading for me. Carbonel was a lot better before 2/6. Now all her AMPS are much lower than her PMPS. As you can see from the spreadsheet she is not dropping down much at all. I worry about her shaking her head as well. Has anybody experienced this? She did this on the PZI until I gave her Insulin once a day.
With regards to the spreadsheet, I am simply not very computer literate and do not understand the instructions for attaching it to my details, sorry. I have been on and off this website purely because I could not figure out how to do the spreadsheet! I spent ages trying to find it when I needed to fill it in.

If you post to the Tech Support forum and let them know you need help attaching the spreadsheet to your signature, someone will give you a hand.

With Lantus, you will really need to get more spot checks in order for us to help you. Without the data, there's no way to make suggestions regarding dose since Lantus dosing is based on the nadir. Given that you're not home in the morning, I would get a PM +11, your AMPS, and out the door test, a test when you get home, and I would strongly encourage you to get some spot checks in the evening. Many cats have lower numbers at night. Without collecting information during the PM cycle, not only are you missing half of your data, you may miss a dose reduction.

Giving you a bump, because I see you have an unanswered question about head shaking. You might try putting that in your subject line -- "head shaking question" or just "question" -- so people with experience will notice it.

Kitty shakes his head sometimes. It can suggest anything from allergies on. Try cross-posting in the health forum if you don't get an answer here. Good luck with it!
