WCR: All 5 P's in Place, along with a lower number this morning. Of course I need to run off to a few clients this morning and returned to a BCS dose. :-| How am I gonna get this to work ....?


In other news we have a very special guest in the "foster room." Yesterday evening with weather again forcasted to be brutally cold (0F-6F with windchills down in the minus teens)....Gary had curled up on the rug outside the slider window. Unusual as he normally eats and runs and the temperature yesterday evening was still below 15F! He wasn't seeking out the lodge for warmth etc. So I opened the door and reached down and snagged him. Much to his surprise he is now in the warmth of the "foster room" sleeping on a cat-nip dusted sherpa crate pad. Last night he was quite hissy and growly about the situation, but this morning he was quiet when I went to check on him. He ate the food from last night and appears to have found the litterbox. Last night after the house settled down for bed-time Gary started meowing and chorteling for a while. I was happy to hear those sounds as the chorteling is a "friendly" sound.

Atlas was clueless for a while last night that there was a guest, but MudCat knew right away that her Gary is in the "foster room." Soon Attie became aware and took to laying against the door. Not sure if he is guarding or what? MudCat though has been happy cat tail rubbing and headbutting the corner wall.

it is too cold to be outdoors, poor strays. I'm glad Gary got a warm bed last night and all the others weren't bothered by it.

That's a great amps Atlas! Now don't go doing anything drastic just surf the safe greens.

WOOOHOOO I'm so glad Gary is safe and warm and fed with you. And that he's mellowed out. He doesn't know how lucky he is. Great job.

That AMPS must have been a pleasant surprise!

It sounds like Cary really wanted to have a PJ party at your house! I'm glad he was out of the cold last night.

Ugh!!!! Just got home. First call of the day for two kitties...last day of their visits. Their beans should be home this afternoon. The one cat is over 20#s. And....eating ravenously.....yes, I did leave a note about him needing to see the vet for some blood work....like fructosamine and liver values....

Home to check on Attie.

Then the puppy visit and he didn't want a puppy visit...30 minutes later after being out in the cold for his potty break and no success....guess where he pee'd! Clean up that mess...

Then off to walk Emma, our new client. She is a big, fun, and friendly 18 mo. Samoyed. I wish I could bottle her energy...just the half hour of it!!!! :lol:

And I'll be running out again in 45 min. to visit that puppy again!!!!

Gary was on the bed when I walked in the foster room...me thinks he doesn't know what a litter box is... :? Cleaned up two puddles of poo :-Q and he pee'd on the bed in front of me....the comforter is now down in the washer. Thank goodness that bed has a mattress cover on it. :thumbup So I took some of the my guys litter box mess and put it in Gary's litter box... I may need to splurge and find some "cat attract!" He was no longer hissy with me, but was up on the bed and let me get some pets and scritches in. I think I may have heard a purr.... Looks like I'll have to find some funds for the vet for him too.

Attie's plus nine is due in half an hour...

That was an awfully hard bounce from last nights low. He would not have bounced that hard from the 69, the 69 must have been already in recovery mode this morning.

Hi Beth - wow on the pink... bounce city! Mannie has some company then - he's on that floor too.

Isn't that something with Gary in the foster room. WOW - and Awesome! I am so glad that he is out of the cold. I hope too that he figures out the LB thing.... ad you got scritches and purrs? SWEET! I love Celi's photo too. Good luck with it all! Gary is one lucky dude...

Attie, what happened to your nice numbers. Please come back down where you belong K? Beth, bless you for taking Gary in. Poor soul. I hope he minds his manners and catches on to where he is to deposit his business. Are you expecting snow again this weekend? I thought I heard that. Have a good night. By the way, your website is great. Enjoyed it.
