perhaps mikey's cleaning up crumbs from your kids . . . and sometimes he's just not as hungry. our cat felix used to get under the kids little picnic table where they ate breakfast and he LOVED to chow on anything that fell. or maybe he has a stash of bugs he gets into in between feedings. :lol:

cats are so picky - he could just be being picky too.

Mikey's in a separate room and the "clean up crew" (as i like to call them) usually "clean up" his crumbs. It is the first time his numbers have been so blue, consistantly so I'm thinking maybe that has something to do with it???

I do know he is most hungry at 4am which I am hoping will change very soon! 4am feeding are no fun!

The 4:00am hungries is probably because that's +5 for him, isn't it? If it was my cat in these nice numbers and I was being woken up for food at +5, I would definitely test and feed if necessary. He could be trying to let you know he's desparately needs food.
