WCR: All Ps in place. I didn't get snuggles at bedtime last night, but I did get snuggles this morning. I woke up to her eating her overnight snack at +11, so I got up and too away her bowl and THEN I got snuggles. Yeah, good try little girl. Snuggling up to me doesn't get you more fuds...ok, sometimes it does. I'm concerned about her front left leg. More often, now, when she's sitting on her butt (like a dog), her front left leg looks like it's becoming deformed. I don't know how to describe it, really. Almost like it's starting to bow outwards. :? Anyone ever deal with anything like this? She walks ok and gets up on things fine, but I'm thinking it goes hand in hand with her little leg flicks. I don't know...worried as always.

OT: the next 3 weeks are busy, stressful, full of performances and competition. nailbite_smile Sending healthy vines to all our sugar kitties and their hoomins! Blessings!

I hope that everything is ok with her leg. Could it be that maybe neuropathy (sp) is setting in...? You may need to get her to the vet to have it checked out. She's giving you a lovely slide this morning it looks like. I hope you guys have a great day, and please stay warm and safe.

I hope it's nothing serious with Shasta's leg, but it does sound like a visit to the vet may be needed. Nice numbers for Shasta this morning. I hope she surfs safely for you and your busy days go quickly.

Morning Deborah ~O) ~O) ~O)

Very nice set of numbers for Shasta. Looking good little one. So even an consistent. You surf well for your bean. :-D

I am trying to remember,.... was it Shasta that was on potassium supplements, as her levels were low? My memory escapes me... The reason I wonder is that Mannie had this problem, his were low, and the twitch and leg flicks that he did from time to time were attributed to this. Just a thought. Maybe have Shasta looked at? Meds did help Mannie alot.

Have a great day today. I hope all goes well. :-D Good luck with all that is coming up - sounds very busy!

What a nice flat cat today! I hope she slides down a bit and hangs out in blue for you today :-D I hope you can find out something about her leg. Sending you anti-stress vines for your busy next few weeks! I'm glad your day started with snuggles, even if they were to try get fuds ;-) :-D Have a good Monday!

Hi Deborah,
Nice flat numbers so far ~ Not sure what the leg could be?? Hope it is something easily fixable
Glad you got some extra cuddles even if they were bribes for more fuds

Have a good day~

Thanks everyone for the sweet vines for Shasta. The leg flick thing has been going on for quite some time...years. I noticed the front legs looking a bit twitchy/wobbly when she was sitting up a week ago/two weeks ago. And I started noticing the funky leg position several weeks ago. She gets zobaline every night; cosequin every day. Michelle, you were right with the Potassium. She's been on it since the beginning of the school year, but I found myself pulling back from it, especially on the weekends. I took her off of the Potassium last week because she wasn't eating and her mood was dismal. Since then, her mood has brightened (mostly) and she's eating...but only because I am cheating and giving her nibbles of Friskies. I don't notice the leg tremors right now, but I do still notice the leg flicks and the weird leg positions. I don't know. My mind keeps telling me it's something neurological.

I really do keep meaning to call and set up an appointment. I swear. I feel like the worst mom ever. I have 3 phone calls to make tomorrow and I pray that I even get 1 done. :YMSIGH: My kids have a performance at the School Board tomorrow after school, so one of my only "free" days after school is shot and Wednesday I lose my entire planning period due to another performance for our feeder chain elementary schools and middle school. @-) She girl is curled up in my lap right now...both of us ready to go to bed. Thank you all for stopping by. I'll be around tomorrow night to catch up on condos. Spent 2 hours tonight, hounding my students about who was going to drive?, who needed a ride?, who can drive others?, how many can your car fit? UGH! 2 hours of that crap!!! bedtime. Love you all. Scritches to the sweet kitties out in LL!

Evening Deborah - nice blues for Shasta tonight. The only time I had a kitty with a front leg that looked funny, he had quite bad arthritis in his front elbows. The vet could tell just by feeling it. For him, Cosequin wasn't quite enough and I had to go to Cartrophen - Canadian equivalent to Adequan. Good luck in getting to vetty. Sending healing vines for little snuggly girl.
