Morning,

Ding Ding Ding Ding! Mirium I think you hit the nail on the head. I have been using this pen since 12/14. Thats about 7 weeks and her #'s started going up. I never really thought about that since she had just had a dosecrease. Never had any experience with the pooping out of insulin since this is are first pen of Lantus.

I should have opened a new pen this morning. That way being home I could have tested and kept an eye on her. But it was early and I did'nt think.

I will open one tonght. It is hard to toss out Lantus but I know it probley isn't any good.

Nothing like some new juice. We never have to throw out any insulin. Spike takes his in larger doses. He likes to be thrifty.

That is a pretty good drop from 166. I think I would get a +4 too.

I know a lot of people use their carts longer than 30 days a lot of Lantus users toss them around 30 days.

Mirium,

We were on the same page. I used the Lantus pen for 7 weeks till I noticed it was'nt working as good. Her #'s were'nt has high as they were in the begining of this, but they were climbing. Thanks, you're the one that made the light bulb go off in my head. :-D
