Good morning, LL,

Late today. I fell asleep while icing my knee and Rusty left me alone. Knee is still not good, but I hope it will improve today. Rusty is fine and had a good night, good morning routine, good shot, and a good number to start the day. We are waiting for curling to be on the Canadian tv channel, but so far it's all hockey. Disappointed, since curling was promised.

Yo Kitties, let's get all the LL Sliders teams together today, practice for a while, and then sit on my radiators and try to catch the Olympic curling matches on tv. Hot tuna toddies and cimmamum cookies. See ya later.

Rusty is having a very good morning, and he looks very good in blue :-D I hope he slides down to the lagoon, and that your knee starts to feel better soon!

Finally found curling on the US alternate channel. What a complicated game! The kitties will have to learn even more strategy than required for FD!!

In Canada there are about 5 TV stations showing various Olympic events. I watched Canada beat Germany last night on Sportsnet. You can also watch curling streamed either live (webcast) or replay. Check out http://olympics.cbc.ca/videos/live/video/curling-men-swe-gbr-webcast.html. I like how they still use bagpipers to bring in the teams. :-D You'll have to watch a couple of commercials first, and if it seems a bit "stuck", just move the video slider up a bit. I've had to do that for a couple of the videos I've watched. Here is the TV listing showing all the stations. You can set your time zone so it reflects where you are.

I have been thinking of you all day, hoping your knee was better. Be well knee! This must be hard for you, and frustrating. Take are, and I hope it is better soon.

Good luck finding the channels that carry what you a re after. We have struggled with that too. BBC is good, but really like the references Wendy listed.

Women's curling is on CBC at midnight your time. :cool: I've been watching the streaming stuff on my iPad.

No knee progress today. ohmygod_smile But I've been practicing RICE. (rest, ice, compression, elevation). Rusty ate almost all his dinner right before his bedtime test, so I think the 203 reflects that. Or maybe it's a bounce. It wasn't a fur shot.

I am tired of being a cripple!!

Thanks again, Wendy, for the CBC schedule. But Edward would divorce me if I stayed up any later, just to watch curling! (I have to read the rules for curling. I find it totally baffling, but I can see that there are strategies on top of strategies--sort of like chess.)
