What to say about yesterday... We had blue! And if you mix it with all the yellow one gets green.  If it were nly that simple.... Mannie had a decent day, even if the greens remain elusive. The good side of it all is that we haven't had "that color" in a few days so maybe, just maybe things are leveling out some. Paws crossed. Still looking for more blues and greens Mannie. Maybe today? Lubs ya big guy! cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D AND!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We had kitty choir!!!      Well, a one member kitty choir. This bean was in major oversleep mode, when I heard this small but persistent voice, meowing in my ear - just enough to wake me up. It was Elsa - she had assumed the position, made sure I knew she was there. Looks like BJ has indeed been hanging around, and coached her sister. I was grateful though that Elsa did not resume the claws to the shoulder part though. Phew! So, breffis was only 15 minutes late. I found Mannie upstairs, pacing the floor, his new version of the fuds dance... I told him pacing does no good if I don't know he's dong it, and that he had better re-think his strategy and join his sister in the choir ritual. Much more effective in getting the bean outta bed.  He had that look: " but.... the nanners needed me!" Guess so -new pattern this morning. The two rainbows at one end, two half circles with the nanners on the other. He must have slept in the middle, with the rainbows as a pillow.    And as always we had a great test feed shoot this morning: lots of purrs and head rubs from Mannie. Breffis was consumed with gusto - still and always at warp speed, clean plate club status maintained, the auto feeder continues to be used, Elsa still tries to raid his auto feeder, I still intercept, well sort of.... Normalcy in MannieLand.

Have a great day everyone! I am on DGS duty today, then off til next week. Another rainy day here, and what to do with the little guy... I know I won't be able to get to condos until late in the evening, if at all. Hopefully I can get to some in the morning. Do know that I am thinking of you, and your furkids. Think Blue, think green kitties!

Hey everybody! Yesterday was so fun at the dunes! maybe we can go again??? Tess??? can we??? I found this great place here too where they make Ice cream and people can come and watch and stuff. I was thinking... surely they wouldn't notice a bunch of kitties hanging out... what'd'ya think? That could be really fun. All that cream.... See you guys! ~~ Mannie

And completely OT: some photos of Nicholas and the Aquarium visit , from yesterday.

Re: 2/10 Mannie AMPS 196

Starting out the day in BLUE! What a promising start to the day. I think Mannie is wanting you to find something to do at home. It's not fair! Nicholas comes over and then you whisk him off on adventures and leave the poor Manster home.

Oooooooooooooooo! I love cream! But moom says to ask for our samples before they put the sugar in. Why would they wreck cream w/ sugar? confused_cat Then the dune for sliding and sun napping! -- Tess

Re: 2/10 Mannie AMPS 196, +2 187

Mornin Michelle, how sweet with Elsa's solo voice this am. Yes, BJ was teaching and her spirit all around, bless her. I can see how much DGS loves the acquarium; he is so cute and growing up fast. Hope you two find something indoors today. Are there any movies for his age group? I haven't heard of any here. It's more fun to be out and about though! Mannie is looking good there with the blues and maybe some greens later.

Hey Mannie, I'm all for ice cream, yes, count me in and then the dunes at Tess's sounds like a plan. See ya soon, Mags

Re: 2/10 Mannie AMPS 196, +2 187

Hey, hey, Mannie - those blues are looking very nice this morning. Keep it up! Cute pics of Nicholas, as always. :-D

Mannie! U iz wearin' GREEN! Oh u iz jus BOOTIFUL!!!

Nicholas is such a cutie - you're so lucky to get to spend time with and do 'memory' things with him. Mine all live hours away - with DH's illness and the suddenness of his attacks, we can't travel any more. We spend more time on the side of the road trying to pull him out of attacks than we do driving - the moving 'things' cause attacks by affecting his optical nerve. It gives me a smile to see the pics of the things you do together.

BIG HUG!!!

Yay for the kitty choir!! Although I wouldn't be too sure those claws to the shoulder aren't just a future lesson from BJ. And Mannie's green! What a great day!

Re: 2/10 Mannie PMPS 155

155 @ PMPS. What a terrific day for Mannie. WOW!

Thank to all that visited Mannie while I cared for DGS today. We had intended to go to a river, but it seems that Mannie had other ideas... :? By the time I was certain he was on a surf board it was too late to go, so Nicholas and I went to the beach area a few miles from the house. It was a good choice, and he had a nice time. We walked the beach, played n the sand, visited the creek, and wound up the day with a little car camping. A great time for the little guy.

Thanks Anne, KT, Roni, Lisa, Devon, Anne, Ann, and Ann for checking up on Mannie - it is appreciated. Forgive my shortened update. Mannie had a very good day today - these are the ones I used to love: nice blue PS #, with a dip into the greens. I hope this is the beginning of the return to where he was months ago. Paws crossed! It is a promising start. -- and I to think it was great on Elsa and the singing this AM: under BJ's guidance. It was just so similar....
Ann - I do believe you are right! and that is exactly what he did: kept us home for a bit. The focus was on the Manster for a while this morning,
Ann - yes, he does love the aquarium - always a hit when we go there! and no clue on the movies. I should look into that. and ye on the out and about. :-D
Liz - he did! and green too!
Devon - that DGS is. I love this age - everything is such a fascination for him. It is just so great to watch unfold.
Lisa - thanks!
Roni - i so hope so on Elsa - this bean needs it! thanks on all!
Hi KT - you are so right - i cherish every moment, and do indeed know how lucky I am. I am so glad that you enjoy the pics. I hope things get better for your DH. How hard that must be for everyone. Healing vines for all!
Hi Anne - so agreed!! Kitty choir! I hope she will take on the role... on yes on the claws. I was glad they were absent this AM, but expect that if she continues they will be part of the routine.

Hey my friends! WOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO on the ice cream place. Uh..... who was it that kept tripping those dudes so that they spilled the cream. heeheehee: well done! Tess, my bean said the same thing, and I don't get it - why put that sugar stuff in there... weird huh. Thanks too for letting us come to the dunes again. It was so fun. I still have sand stuck in my fur. And I wanna know who burried me up to my ears and nose ands tuff when I was napping. sheshhhhh.... :-D :-D WOO HOO! What a day! ~~ Mannie

Re: 2/10 Mannie PMPS 155, +2 297

297 @ +2. OK, carp! And now we bounce.... darn it anyways.... oh well, back at it tomorrow.

Hi Ann - AM was great - not too sure about this PM cycle...

Hi Linda - it sure was!! Made my day, for sure!

Re: 2/10 Mannie PMPS 155, +2 297

Bounces happen, and no doubt Mannie will clear this one before you know it. At least a lovely day was had by everyone - I hope it continues into the evening!!!!

Re: 2/10 Mannie PMPS 155, +2 297

Hi guys,
I'm very late checking in tonight. Don't know where the day went! Neat to hear about the "solo" alarm clock (BJ is watching out for Mannie and making sure he gets his shot on time). Good job, Elsa!
Nice day for you and Nicholas. Great pics from yesterday. I love the middle one.
And Mannie, you had a great day of numbers! Bravo!! Now, don't bounce too high, OK?

To sleep now. Gotta rest up for the 5.5 hour opera tomorrow and then the party. Rusty can listen to the opera on the radio, since it's the usual Saturday broadcast from the Met in addition to the live in HD at the movies.

Have a good evening and a good start to the weekend,

Ella & Rusty

287 @ +4. YAY! We haven't gone any higher - still yellow.

Hi Ann- darn teeter totter!

Hi Amy - Thanks, and that they do! And yep - you are so right" a lovely day was had by all.  It really was very good, on all counts.

Hi Ella - I so agree - and was very glad Elsa made an appearance. I was so asleep....  No doubt on BJ. :-D Thanks on the pics - Me o too on the middle one. He so loves moving water, and every time we go it is an instant magnet to this waterfall. -- oh wow on the opera. I had forgotten that it was 5 hours. it will be a busy day for you!
