A number of positive things to report:
Maggie accepted sub-q fluids easily
She ate all her food at every meal following the fluids (first time in weeks)
The food was not Fancy Feast
She cleaned her own face (first time in weeks)
She had a nice poo last night
She had a nice steam hanging out in the bathroom while DH showered
She slept in my lap for a while (first time in weeks)

Just one sub-q treatment seems to have done her a world of good. Color me relieved and encouraged.

Yay! So, so, so happy to hear this! I’m glad it’s made such a difference. Being dehydrated is the pits! Hope all the goodness continues and you can do that scruff test to know when/if she needs fluids again hopefully before any other symptoms creep up.
