SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of cheery cherry and chocolate swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with crystallized cheery cherries and chocolate drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! We gots CHEERY CHERRY CHEESECAKE too! as well as cheery cherry frappes! I love cheery cherry Mondays.
I hope everyone had a great weekend, and a good Sunday yesterday. It was an OK one here, really didn't do too much, but did get in a few walks to the shore, frozen, snowy cold walks. They were great. We don't get much snow here in the lowlands, so when it does show up it is always such a big deal.  I think we had maybe 2", which slowly melted throughout the course of the day. It was so pretty while it lasted though. I really didn't do much else with the day. The cold , Nicholas's cold, really hasn't materialized, so maybe I have won that war.
I spent alot of time this weekend just trying to recover from a whirlwind three days with the boys. Mission accomplished I think. SWEET! - Here's what I wrote about the day in yesterday's posts.: 1) "Morning everyone! Finally we have our winter wonderland here. 2" of snow! well, that is alot for us. I went out early to take a neighborhood walk, venture up to the coffee shop. It was just nice to hang out there for a bit, hot
in hand. I will head on out here shortly to venture on down to the meadowdale shore and see what the snows have done to the shoreline. So so hoping it is a winter wonderland there too. I suspect that most folks have not gone there yet today. well, we shall see...
" and 2) "Happy afternoon! Sadly our snow is beginning to melt.... bummer! It was nice to have for a change. I did make it out for a shore hike, nice! It was fun to see how the snow transformed the familiar. There weren't too many people out either. Seems that I missed most of them, judging from the foot prints in the snow those that did go went in the morning. It has been cloudy here all day, but no more snow, nor the rains that are due. Well, no matter. I am done for the day, it has been a good one, time to rest and unwind to make sure I don't get Nicholas's cold. SO far.... looking good! Enjoy your evening everyone!"

What to say about the kitties.... They have been good kitties, and even Lola! Well sorta on Lola... Lola will always be Lola. What a great addition she has proven to be for our family. She's full of mischief while also being one of the sweetest cuddliest lap kitties I have ever had. She really likes her new shower curtain game, and anytime I go into the bathroom she runs down to meet me so she can play her game. She will hide behind the curtain, wait for me to poke it, or grab her, and then she attacks the curtain. We do this over and over again. Great fun for her!   We still have glass pounding, big time. I love that too. At least she isn't pounding at night, only, it seems, when she knows she has an audience. I like the glass shower door one the best: she pounds, and I pound back at her from the other side.   Yesterday the kitties were visibly perturbed when they realized it had snowed. Elsa was not happy, and would not go out, not even to step n it. She HATES the snow. Bug just looked at it, meowed alot and then went to bed. Lola didnlt know what to make of that stuff that had turned the deck white. Back and forth she ran from the sliders to the windows to anything that would let her see it. So so animated! I 'm not too sure it she was excited, or really confused as to what it was. This went on for a good hour before she finally went off to take one of her power naps. Crazy. Normalcy in MusketeerVille!
Have a great day everyone! I'm not too sure what will be here today. One of those days when I shall see what comes to be. If the weather clears some I may go do some local hiking.
