Well, down he came! Apparently he’s been hanging out in Libre LO territory, or close to it, for around an hour. (I just got home, looking at graph.) He’s rising now.
I got one blood test - 73 - and the Libre concurrently showed 52. So apparently only about a 20 point spread in that range, on this sensor. That would suggest that he was probably about 60-65 when I did the first in-the-door scan and got a reading of 41. I will still have to get some higher and lower readings on other occasions to check how the variance differs in different ranges. But he’s climbing too quickly (at least on the Libre end) now for comparisons to be accurate (when rising/climbing fast, the lag makes it hard to get an at-the-same-time reading.)
He’s purry and just fine. Didn’t enjoy the ear prick, but was good. I actually dare say he’s getting better about it… still hates them, but better.
