Yesterday's nice number and AC report

Good Caturday morning LL. This is the night duty bean doing the morning condo for the first time since last year! Between the icky devil bug, travels and back to work, night duty has been my limit. @-) Zener is having a pokey break today, well deserved after the numbers in his last few cycles and frequent pokes because of waxing and waning appy. Appy pretty good this morning and less appy stimulant needed. We are waiting on the arrival of the Budesonide from the vet compounding pharmacy, paws crossed the pony express brings it up the hill today. :cool:

Liz is out for her first run since we got sick in mid-December. And, after 40 days of no moisture, and tying a 100-year-old record for winter drought, we got a baby winter storm yesterday with about 2 inches of icy, slushy, crunchy snow and are SO grateful to get that! Just in time to put us all in the mood for the Catlympics. The mighty Zener went out in the snow for his evening picnics and to do his business, what a brave guy!

Zener deserves a pokie break today - that was a lot of work yesterday and it looks like Mr. L woke up from his sleep. :roll: Someone's got to captain the pink team today. He's a brave guy going out in that icky snow today.

So good to hear Liz is out running again. Getting back in shape is not going to be fun. Good luck getting the new meds today.

How can you be the captain of the team for the Catlympics if you can't tell up from down? :lol:

Happy you got some moisture of any kind! I was watching on the news last night where they were talking about how bad the drought was, so I know every little bit helps!

Oh dear, that is the wrong way, Z. I guess he decided, his ears need a break ;-) Hopefully the new meds will show today so you can give them a try.

I hope you guys get some more moisture, I wish I could share! Seems so silly to have all this snow and no one to share it with :lol: I hope Liz had a good run, and you both have a good Caturday! :razz:

So, Zener, you got confused on which direction to go today? Did you get a brain freeze from being out in the cold? Hope you warm up and come down to some nice, sunny yellow. :-D

I hear they got some rain in Tucson. Sound like you got some precip from the same front. All it gave us was a little puny, misty kind of moisture in the air and just enough drops to make a mess on the cars! :cry: We are hearing nasty words like "rationing" and "fines" for watering your yard. Bleah. We haven't even had winter this year - the MidWest and East are hogging it all. Here's hope we all get some relief soon!

Hope Zener comes down for you this evening and you enjoy your weekend. Liz, don't overdo on the running the first day back at it - no sore muscles!

Hi guys,

Z Man, with you as captain, the Pink Team should do great today. You are one hardy dude, going out in the snow to picnic.

We hope Liz had a good race and didn't overdo too much (it is so hard not to overdo in a race!). I hope the pony express does indeed show up today with Zener's meds.

Envisioning brave Zener picnicking in the snow made me :-D :-D :-D !!! I'm glad his appy is better today, and that he decided to level off that rise. Gooooo Pink Team...the competition on the ice is heating up!!!

Thanks everyone for giving Zener the correct directions. He appears to have been on the slide since mid-cycle. Paws crossed appy picks up a bit in case he decides to slide into a dive. :cool:

Zener did some yard patrol this afternoon when the sun melted all the snow it touched on. He much prefers doing his business outside. ;-)

Nice slide to yellow today for Zener. I hope his appy is still good this evening. How nice that Liz got to get out for a run this morning.
 
I think and hope he's going to be done with his bounce and back to blues and greens today ;-)

J.D. likes to do his business outside too. It's a guy thing.
