Simon surfed some nice blue numbers last night and looks like he is still surfing this morning. I always like to see a blue AMPS instead of his usual yellow. He was extra frisky last night so I could tell he was feeling better.

I am off to tbp. Today it is going to be emotionally draining because we have a new Executive Director where I work and that means all programs are being scrutinized. The bad thing is that they don't even understand anything about geriatrics and they are making decisions like we are a preschool. I am so exhausted and drained from all of this. Thank goodness I have two furballs and DH to come home to at night. Now if Simon could just continue to surf the blues and even show me some greens, I will be very happy!

Sorry to hear you're having such a hard time at tbp. I hope things ease up for you, all this stress isn't good for you or the furbabies who pick up on it. Now onto nicer things, YAY Simon for the blue surf and the amps, let's make the Bean smile tonight and show her some greens!

Yuck on TBP today. I hope it's not nearly as bad as you expect. I know how frustrating it is when someone who knows nothing about what you do tell you how you can do it better :roll: :roll: . Try and have a good one...

Georgia I'm so sorry you are dealing with crap at work. I'm dealing with nasty stuff also and I am making a job search a priority now. I hate my job and it just got a whole lot worse. I am thankful for DH and the three furballs also. They keep my feet on the ground. Sending you big hugs today. Hang in there.

I got a chance to run home to test Simon and he is still surfing blue! yay!

I had to meet with the Asst. Director this morning and I was so stressed I basically got teary-eyed during the discussion. I hate when that happens. I guess she can at least tell how passionate I feel about the people I am helping at my center. Not sure it will make a difference on whether they still want me to cut my budget but who knows? She may just think I am a loose cannon on the verge of a nervous breakdown :-D

Karrie, I am so sorry you are going through similar things right now. I hope the right job for you appears soon. It is so hard to remain positive and happy when your job is draining everything out of you. Glad your DH and kitties are helping you maintain some semblance of normalcy.

Thinking of you today. I hate it when the teary eyes start. Ugh. That only makes it even worse for you. Sunny yellow for Simon tonight so you should be able to get some rest. ((((Georgia))))

I'm so sorry you're having difficulties at work. I certainly understand...I've been dealing with work issues , too, and it makes it more terrible because you have to go if you want to pay your bills. I hope everything works out. BTW....I'm one of those that gets teary-eyed, too, when I get upset, nervous, or feel passionately about something. I'm sure you were convincing!!!
