Good Morning, Everyone,

The big storm is heading our way, but no snow yet. 9 degrees this morning. Tomorrow is supposed to be the snow day.

Rusty had a good night, ate all his nighttime food, and apparently was so comfortable that he didn't want to get out of bed this morning. I just got back from taking DH to his yoga class, and in a few minutes will see if Rusty wants a game. At the moment he is happy and cozy in his perch above the radiator. This morning I fattened his dose to a fat 0.5. His nadir seems to come after +6 and before +9. Yesterday his PMPS was the same as +9, and, after the insulin shot, his bedtime +4.5 had gone up by 40 points from PMPS. Not sure what to make of all this. I don't think I gave a fur shot last night. We'll see what happens today.

Morning Ella & Rusty. Maybe we should get Rusty and Maggie together and corner them and ask both what is going on with their numbers. Good luck with the dosecrease. 9 degres brrrrrrrrrr

I dont know what's up with Rusty's numbers either. Hope the new dose does it. How did you travel to NYC with his insulin - could that be a factor. I think I asked this before, but some days I have the memory of a goldfish (sorry).

Hope he comes down nicely for you today.

And yes, I drive to work. It would take me about 3 times as long to get to the office if I took public trans. It would be at least a 20 min. walk to the "L" and probably 40 min. or so to campus. It's max a 20 min. drive.

Good morning guys .. Maybe rusty is worried about the big snow storm headed your way .. though I'm sure he has nothing to worry about in that nice warm home with all his toys ... have a great day guys!

Morning Ella and Rusty - and Edward too! BRRRRRRR - it is cold there. I hope you are ready for the monster storm. It is interesting in that this snow storm is the highlight of our local news. First thing up last night, even beat out the turmoil in Egypt. Stay safe, stay warm.

Good luck with the new dose - I hope it brings things down some for Rusty. I hope too that he has a good cycle today.

Rusty, you got more juice? So did I. Mom says this should make be better, but I feel fine. What youcwanna do? We gotta get you out of there before the snow........ Or we could allcome there and hang out on the radiator and get snowed in together. Do you think Aunt Ella would mind another dozen kitties for a few days? __. Tess

Hi again,
I'm about to head out to do some grocery shopping, just in case! It's snowing already, but we're not supposed to get the real storm until tomorrow. We already have almost 2 feet of snow on the ground, so we should really have some great snow for skiing after the storm (our x-country ski this week is going to take place on Friday).

Rusty and I had a great, energetic play with Red Ears, Big Bug, the Cube, and the Scratcher about an hour before lunch. That seems to have dropped his bg at +6!! (maybe it was the extra fat on his dose, also). Tried a little bit of the "new" (nutritionally balanced) BG 96% Turkey (which I bought in NYC), and he really liked it. I put it into one side of his dish and some Wellness Turkey (his staple) on the other side, and he ate the BG and left most of the Wellness for later! I shall be interested to see if he continues to like it. I only had the 1 small can, but also have a can of the chicken and the quail and chicken.

Off now to shop. See you all later,

Good luck with the increase! And be sure and stay warm. Its cold here too, but we aren't supposed to get any snow. Where is Spring??

Good luck with the dosecrease and we hope you get all your supplies!! I love Rusty's playful attitude with you...that must be so fun to get that big guy going!

We're getting a watered down version of your storm...the mountains here near our house are supposed to get alot of snow but not like you all. It's just going to be cold here...well, cold relatively speaking for Tucson. It will seem like a heat wave for you all :lol: :lol:

Rusty...heard everyone is coming to your place to tunnel in the snow....we're bringing our extra coats!!! Does your mamabean gots FD friendly hot drinks??

Lovely day for Rusty! Both numbers and activity! We are currently hunkered down as the storm blows through. Hope you guys are having a toasty warm day as well!

Snow storm, Now you can really get down to some baking & cooking--Best to do while snowed in.. :-D :-D :-D We are getting ice & rain!
