Morning ~O) ~O) It's a good day for Maggie, and I even had one of her zoom zooms. She is really loving the NV raw chicken fuds. All P's in place today. Thanks everyone for visiting Maggie's condo yesterday with her pic. I don't know about the kitten though it would be great for me, with her age I'm thinking it all may stress her out too much. It sure did work out so nice with Herbie & Willie. Maggie hisses at my next door neighbor's girl kitty, so no playdates there she says! We have a boy kitty crossing by the patio, and he gets a growl from Maggie. Have a nice day.

Nice start for Maggie! Yay on the zoom zooms. She is a silly girl. I really like the picture yesterday. A kitten is just what both of you need. :lol: Hope you have a wonderful day!

You never know...hardly anyone can resist a kitten :lol: ! It took Mario a while to adjust when we threw 4 kittens his way (Noah, Petey, Zen, and Frankie), but once he settled in he was thrilled and very happy to have company (our older kitty had passed away a few months prior to the big adoption.) When Trix came along a year and a half later, his attitude was like "What's that there? Oh, another cat. Yeah, I see..now let me get back to sleep!" :lol:

It's great Maggie is taking to the raw food. You'll see lots more zoom zooms now for sure!
Kittens are wonderful at reminding all of us (Maggie included) to be young at heart.

I wanted Maverick to have a friend also. Once I joined the online forums and realized cats were social and many bonded, it melted my heart that he was alone. But then I had to think about what was best for Maverick and it wasn't risking it. His recovery from FHL, his arthritis, asthma and then diabetes, what toll would stress take on him? I think I chose right because we didn't know his heart was probably bad also. You know Maggie best. Did Celi's picture of the mini bob get the genes that melt for kittens revved up? Sure did for me.

Iorwen, I'm so glad Mags has taken to the raw' she cleans the plate clean.

Wow Amy, a 4 kittens adoption at one time, lucky kitties. I can picture Mario, like, whoa...what the heck! One big happy family now.

Karrie, I'll have to work on another pic! :- I so remember fondly memories of Maverick. You did choose right and had no idea about his heart. It sure is a lot to consider with an older kitty. Mags has Stage 2 renal disease and is on a phosphorus binder.

Hi All! I am glad that the raw is working our for Maggie. One of these days I need to give that a shot with Mannie. Here ya on new playmates - I too have been toying with the idea of kitten, or younger cat. I think Nannie would do fine, but I am not too sure with Elsa. So we haven't gone there.

Very nice start for Maggie today. GO MAGS!!

The longer you think about a kitten, the more likely a kitten becomes. No one gets a kitten fix just by thinking about one.

Maggie is looking fantastic. Great job!! Nice she likes the raw food. Champ LOVES raw. I'm going to look into the kind that's already made and see how much more expensive it is I would love to not have to make it anymore!!!

I would be ecstatic to get a puppy or kitten, but I just don't need one more thing to take care of. Besides, Champ wouldn't like it for sure!!!

Not sure what Maggie's doing there, but she did have almost half a NV raw medallion. It could be hiking up her bg's. There are a few veggies added, probably traces but I wonder.

Michelle, did I hear you say you're toying with the idea of a kitten! Just wait til I tell Linda, as she will put in an order for you, too! :-D

Hi Linda, well the +3 and +5 were nice, but not sure what she was eating while I was gone as the food wasn't touched. she did have more of the NV raw than usual today.

Hi Devon, I think some cats are meant to be the "only" kitty. Thanks for visiting us.

I'm so glad Maggie is enjoying the raw diet. Hopefully, she will decide this is the best thing and not have you going back to the drawing board again. I wish Simon would eat the raw. He wouldn't touch it. Maybe if I started by mixing it in with his other food.
