PMPS+9.5=380. What happened??
AMPS=384. Shot 2.5U. Wellness Chicken out. All p's in order.
+6.5=252. Lunch out.
+9=247. Surfing...
PMPS=196. Dinner out, shot 2.5U. She's blue!!
+2=148. Nice blue girl here...
2.25=123...heading for green...some Friskies put out...will see if I can't slow the drop.
+3=95. Well now. Green.
+3.15=101. Back to blue...

Morning, LL. So I'm not at all sure what happened...only that she is 380 this morning, and will probably be red by the time AMPS comes around. I am not a happy camper...but she could care less. Food available still, so it wasn't that...just not sure what it could be. I doubt seriously that she went green, but I don't know.

It's such a Monday...sigh.

I hope everyone has a better day than mine is starting to shape up as...

AMPS=384. No hike from PMPS+9.5, so I can't be terribly upset.

My day was typical Monday - insane from the alarm clock til now. And I'm going to play hookey tomorrow, too...huge paper due on Wednesday that I haven't finished, and don't feel like staying awake all night and then trying to do patient care safely with just 2 hours' (at most) sleep...so tomorrow is a "get 'er done" day. LOL. (And I don't usually get this far behind...but we do have three days' absence per semester, so I can take this and still be cool if I need to...).

As for the Essemama, she is right now sleeping behind the computer monitor...happy as a clam. I gave her a good brushing, and she just rolled her eyes back and rumbled. I scheduled an appointment for her to get her lump aspirated on Thursday, so we shall see then what the issue is (I'm still going with the fatty lipoma...). And Malachi will be getting his pre-neuter exam done at the same time...so Thursday will be a vet day for two of the herd.

For now, I'm counting my blessings that Esse isn't red...(anti-jinx), and that she's been hovering in the yellow for a few hours at least today. This is good...

nice pmps to shoot. hoping esse has a nice steady decline tonight.

I scheduled an appointment for her to get her lump aspirated on Thursday, so we shall see then what the issue is (I'm still going with the fatty lipoma...). And Malachi will be getting his pre-neuter exam done at the same time...so Thursday will be a vet day for two of the herd.

sounds good. u really shouldn't put these kinds of ideas into my head. hmm.... ;-) i will probably be a good girl tomorrow but i sure could use a day off soon and mother nature sure isn't cooperating!

No...he's 7 months, responding to catnip, and while he hasn't started spraying, I did catch him investigating Mr. Winkie...and he's gotten a bit more aggressive lately, too, so I figure it's time. Bless his heart...take his balls, but bless his heart!

I'm not actually playing hookey...if I were, I'd be at the barn riding all day long. I'm playing catch up...which is totally my fault. I knew this paper was due on Wednesday, but procrastinator that I am, I didn't start it until this morning (at 4 am...). It's about 30 pages long, and I'd guess I'm about 1/2 way done...so I will stay at home and get it done tomorrow (as much as I'd love to go riding...).

My advice? Play hookey when the sun is shining. You feel ever so much more like you're doing something naughty than if you're doing it to play catch-up. I'm just feeling guilty, not naughty. LOL.

I hope this is a good PM cycle for Esse - it's certainly shaping up that way. I'm not going to wish you excitement since you have to be at the books and writing tomorrow. I lost a whole day today with "excitement."

Yep...thought she'd nosedive. Good grief...25 points in 15 minutes.

So I put down some Friskies (one of the approved ones) that she likes...trying to slow the drop, hoping to prevent a huge bounce...will test again in 15 or so, and take it from there.

If her history is any pattern, she has no discernable nadir. It moves around...sigh. So, it's going to be one of those test-and-decide seat of my pants sort of thing. If the Friskies stops the drop, I'll feel safe leaving out enough food and heading to bed...but if she's still dropping...well...let's not go there...I've been up and at the books/school since 3 am (at school at 6:30), and am pretty tired. Have been working on the paper, but it's hard to concentrate wondering if Esse is gonna go low or not.

We'll see in 15-20 minutes...

She is still in very safe numbers, and it wasn't a whole lot (think a 3 oz can split between 9 cats...). I'm just trying to slow the plunge, you know? I find if I can slow it down, the rebounds are not quite as bad as if it just shows up as "whoa, lookit the green 48!" So I'm trying to slow things down, and see if we can't get her surfing at this point.

And I've kept her off a few of the more - erm - exciting threads. She's not allowed to read them tonight...

Maybe the Friskies did work...she's 3.25=101, just hanging out.

There is a whole lot of food out for the night, and I'll be up early (darned paper...). I figure she's surfing (well, I hope she is surfing...although one test can't tell...), but we'll find out in the morning.

If she's high, she went low...if she's yellow, she probably surfed. If she's blue, I have no clue what's happened. LOL...those're my predictions...we'll see how she does. I'm just glad she's slightly over 100 right now...
