Good Morning LL
All is fine with Checkers. Did all the routine things.
Bean is late getting started. Slept while the cats did. Change of weather, feels like a truck ran over me.

312 amps .75u LC
306 +1......LC
180 +2......LC
103 +3.5...tuna treat
95 +4......hairball treat

He normally starts to rise after +4, so am not gonna beat myself up for giving treat, when/if, he does.

Hi guys .. Checks had quite the drop at +2 today .. hope there is no major *B* from this .. Sorry to hear you aren't feeling well, this winters weather has been crazy .. have a great day!

Devon, that's one of my major problems with all this. I just don't know when to give carb to slow a potential drop.
I can't just always assume that he will drop hard, and give hc......just in case.

What if he wasn't going to drop? Then I've carbbed him needlessly.

I go through this every single day!!

Last night's numbers were hidious.....over 400 at +3.
I know that didn't come from the little gravy he licked off the lid of the closed can, after I had squooshed it out, in early afternoon.

I'm causing these constant bounces, and can't figure out when and what and if....to carb

I'm right there with you, Barb. I hate testing every hour to see if Champ's dropping, but the times I do sometimes he's already dropped 150 points. I REFUSE to test every half hour on the chance he might drop. Oh, to be a mind-reader!!!

And don't feel bad about giving Checks some treats.....he DESERVES them!!! :lol: :lol:

Checkers was on a mission today! Figuring out "normal" cats is hard enough, this FD dance is crazy making!

Yay, no red today.....yet nailbite_smile
Tomorrow I'll give mc at +1 mini meal, and see if it slows the drop. I did it Mon. and he still dropped 100 points in an hour.
Any comments?
 
Sorry Barb, i've got no answers for you on the fuds issue and dropping numbers. Just wanted to stop by and see how you and Checkers were doing. Sorry to hear you've been run over by a truck, hopefully the weather changes and you start feeling better soon.

Barbs, I usually test at +3 as Moonie's onset comes on then, +4 she is probably dropping by then, and either +5 or +6, as that's her nadir...Today, however, I gave her some extra juice, so at +2 she showed me she needed a test & she had dropped...
I dont find the need to test constantly, as I went through that already..Unless it is a particularly crazy day.
Some cats have a lot of crazy days..
Once someone said to me, step away from the meter, and they were right! I was at it too much..

Sounds to me like you have that virus I had last week--Run over by a truck-Yup!!! That's it & either upset tummy or cold?? Take care of yourself--Sending good health, Lub & Hugs from us!
