WCR: All P's in place! I have been thinking, however......is it normal for a cat not to get hairballs? Morris has been an indoor-only cat now since mid-July & I have never come accross any hairballs & I have not seen him showing any signs of a hairball brewing!

Re: 2/04 Morris AMPS 203

I do see him grooming himself, so I definately know he is licking his hair from time to time! Could it be because he is short hair? Does that make a difference? This is the first cat I have ever owned (my dad doesn't like cats!), so I am totally clueless when it comes to this cat business!!!!

Hahahaha!!! Oh man, I wish I didn't know what a hairball was! Count yourself lucky! It may be because of the shorthair or maybe what hair he does ingest ... slides all the way through so he doesn't need to cough it up. I believe that is the idea behind a lot of the 'hairball' formula cat treats or food. Gooy goo to lubricate the passage to the litterbox. Years ago I tried some hairball treats for a kitty and we had liqui-poo everywhere. Ewww.

I had a nice relaxing evening at home for a change! Nights like this don't happen very often at my house! Hope everyone else had a nice evening as well! See you all in the morning!
