Yesterday Yellow day

Left off the ear tests overnight and early morning prior to AMPS to give him and me a rest.
AMPS starts at blue.

Couldn't get Iams grain free for love nor money yesterday. Spent hours searching . All out of stock. Likely that was us buying the few cans there were. lol
I've now had to order in and hope it arrives. Meanwhile I do have Applaws. The renal wet pouches and the raw/cooked chicken /venison but no supplements yet arrived.

Ty is at the vet tomorrow. Since I last took him, I've binned the renal food. Binned the metacam. Started home testing. Fiddled around with his diet. Started giving him B12 methyl. Give 4 small feeds rather than 2 rigidly before each injection.

Uummms. I s'pose it will be another fructosamine test. Will await the vets thoughts before deciding what to confess and what to keep schtum. about.

Really hoping to sort out the diet properly over the forthcoming festive days off so we have the same virtually foods regulated for each meal. At the moment it is a bit hit and miss I feel.

Talked with husband. I'm going to order in the Zobaline . I know it's 3mg a tablet which may be too much for Ty's kidney CKD but I have a tablet cutter & this stuff seems to contain everything needed. I really, really want those wobbles to go for Ty. Probably will take weeks to arrive and the shipping cost will be far in excess of the cost of the product. Fingers crossed it is not held up further at NZ customs.

There are other options besides Zobaline, I use this & 1 capsule is 1.5mg so no need for a cutter. Just open it up and put in the wet food. Just make sure the B12 you get is MethylCobalamin:

To be fair. The practice doesn't know this yet. I'll be interested to hear what they say from that test. See how it is alongside my feeble efforts.
I already know the cost from previous times.

Have to drive there anyway as Dusty needs her update vaccinations.
