Well Tuxie was good enough to throw me a few blues today, so this is a good step. He was in the blue long enough that I got a urine glucose reading of negative which I have only seen once before. Usually he is +1 or higher.

How is Tuxie looking and feeling today? Are the 5 P's present?) Any changes after starting the anbibiotic? When my Tiger had a UTI and started on AB, her BG dropped really fast that same night as the AB kicked in. I should have mentioned this yesterday but I never got back online last night, sorry.

Tuxie is back to his normal self..all the 5 Ps except he is not big on playing...he always was more a watcher than a player . His peeing improved yesterday,,,the zenequin gets to work pretty fast. I am keeping track of his BG, but this seems to be a continuation of his other UTI. He never had any big drops when he started treatment his last treatment just over 2 weeks ago, but this is a higher dose. Plus he had the .25 unit dose increase yesterday so I am keeping an eye on his numbers for anything out of the ordinary.

Not sure what he is doing with his evening numbers. Tuxie's +3 was 446 up fro PMPS of 356. This darn cat is going the wrong way!!

Some cats have delayed bounces. Like they try to keep a lid on it, but fail. With Neko, the third cycle after the lower number was when she'd really let loose with the bounce. Tonight is Tuxie's 3rd cycle after that lovely green yesterday.

Hey Tuxie - letting the bean sleep tonight is fine, but let's turn it around tomorrow shall we?

Well I sure don't have to worry about him going too low tonight. His +5 is 427 so he is going to cruise the red or maybe just touch on pink tonight. Hopefully this is just a minor bump in the road. Oh well...tomorrow is another day and hopefully some more blues!!
