Salt went in for a bg test (after a week of no insulin) and it was 176- twice !!!!
I was NOT expecting this at all. The plan is to re-test 1x/week at the vet for the next few weeks (since I still can’t seem to do it at home) just to be sure.
I’m not so naive as to believe that it will be smooth sailing forever more; but I do so appreciate this reprieve and will continue to love and monitor as usual (aside bowls of low carb food, of course).
My boy and I thank all of YOU contributors to this site. Your compassion , patience, knowledge and support are boundless.
