Vet's verdict today: I don't need to test this much, but he didn't object to my testing. He's actually a really knowledgeable vet. Problem is, though, that he's a 45 minute drive away, which I think won't really work out well for Girlie in the long run. We'll see, though... I'm hoping my favourite vet will come back from maternity leave soon: then we'll be right!

Loving her SS recently, especially the drop dose, go Girlie! :woot:

I saw Girlie liked the new vet, that is huge! I hope it can work out until your fave vet returns at least. What did he say about a one drop dose? Did his eyes pop out? ;)

Laughed out loud at this! When I told mine that Darwin was on 0.1U his eyes popped out - I believe he even said just stop the insulin, he's in remission.

Glad the new vet worked out though, but that's a shame it's such a drive! Darwin is not a fan of the car either, but has gotten a bit better with age!

It all sounds tickety boo for Girlie which is lovely to read.

Our vet practice is a good 45 mins away. No choice with that really and Ty doesn't like the journey but we do manage somehow.
If this is the best vet and one who listens , then you'll figure it out.
