The last two days have been remarkably consistent which is a nice change. Yes, he can come down a smidge but I'm not rushing it. It's nice to have some stability for a bit. I've said this before - a BG of about 7-8 mmol/L (120-150) is his happy place as far as perkiness, etc. He's lethargic when he's too high or very low, including desirable low.Loving that pre-shot! YEAH!
Thanks, Linda! This means a lot. Good to know that Teasel isn't the only kitty who feels better running slightly higher than ideal.I'm in the same boat with Miss Menace. Seems "ideal" numbers are a bit too low for her too and she seems better when in the same range as Teasel. Makes me think cats like humans can sometimes be happier at values outside what is considered to be "normal" range for the majority. You've worked so hard to get to this point with him and I am so happy to see the progress you have made!
