Happy Friday! Higher on the pre-shot today than yesterday a.m., but we're still getting a nice blue nadir :)

Just got my new baby weight scale - he's 14.4 lbs :woot: While it's a different scale than at the vet's office, he was 12.4 lbs about 2 months ago. Is it possible he gained 2 lbs in two months?

I think he looks pretty good, 12.4 lbs was not the right weight for him, I could feel his spine. I guess now that I have the scale, I can check weekly since I have a home-weight baseline now.

Next time you go the vet, weigh him just before so you can compare scales. Does he feel 2 lbs heavier? He is seeing better numbers so probably getting more calories in him.
 
I bought some calibration weights so that I could check whether my new scale was accurate. I'm such a nutter, I know, but they weren't too expensive on ebay and relieved my mind as Girlie's weight on her home scale was a bit different than at the vet's, so I just wanted to be sure my home scale was accurate.
 
The whole weight thing on different scales can make you nuts. I try to remember weighing Bubba right before the vet visit to see what the diff is. And then just go by yours or you can go nuts.
 
Mav is not acting like +2 360. He's feisty, talks and wants a lot of pats on the bum :rolleyes:, brings me back to my previous CRF days with my girl kitties...treat the cat not the numbers. He's just being his old goofy self and I love it :p
