I assume you gave 0.25U this morning because your SS says 0 U in the dose column.
The other things that might help - maybe it's been suggested before but I haven't read your prev condos (sorry!) - is to feed 8-9% carbs on a regular basis. That might be a way to be able to keep her on some insulin and avoid these drops.
Hi there, yes, 0.25, forgot to update the column, apparently I am 1 cup of coffee short this morning.
I keep a note of what I feed her on the spreadsheet, when I want to see what it did to her BG. In general she gets 28g lc in mini meals at 4 hourly intervals, either fed by me or in the auto feeder, but I only note on the ss when I want to specifically see what happens to her BG, or when I give her medium or high carbs because I'm panicking, usually at night

.
I am thinking to control the rapid drops though I want to try this: 28glc (which is what she usually gets) after measuring her in morning or evening with her jab; followed by splitting up her next 2 28g lc into 4 14-15g lc meals at approximate hourly intervals spaced around until +6 - e.g. +1, +2, +4, +5 or just making sure that I refill the dish when she eats it up to 4x before +6. Would that be worth trying?
[EDIT - looking at this again in light of the +4 reading today, I might be able to give her fewer mini-mini meals in the early part of the cycle, and instead just break up the second 28glc meal into 2 mini meals, perhaps 1 at +1 or +2 and another at +3 or +4?]
In general I can see when she eats as we have a webcam that covers that area of the house (for when we are away and need to check on the cats).
I have noticed she isn't quite as food motivated in the later part of her cycle.
