Hi there,
I recently bumped up Des' insulin dose to 3.25 units. I am used to seeing him have late nadirs (e.g., right before PM shot or sometimes +1 into PM).
With 3.25 units, however, I see even later nadirs, such as around +3 or later into PM. Is this common? Or is it a sign that I am giving too much insulin?
I am concerned because, as a student, I often have early classes and thus cannot wake up at PM +5 or +7 to ensure he is not hypo.
Your advice is much appreciated. Thank you.
