Yes, I think considering that the Libre gives some wonky reads at lower numbers, his history of DKA and his tendency to develop glucose toxicity pretty quickly, you want to look at a lower reduction point - say 70 rather than 90. And yes, it would be great if Libre readings can be verified with a meter before taking a reduction. I guess he won't let your parent poke him for a test?

Yes. Difficult to handle because he can struggle quite a bit.

He again drops to 72 at +4
 
Is he getting food every hour in cycles like this? You want to prevent a reduction by feeding. Without food, his numbers will keep dropping.

Given another spoon of MC and supplement which he finished half, think he is quite full at the moment. He is at 106.

Im gg out and be back in 1.5 hour but left some leftover supplement for him.
 
You want to go easy on the MC - especially later in the cycle and once he flattens out/stops dropping. Feed MC late in the cycle can reduce the duration of insulin and cause him to zoom up even faster.

Have stopped the MC.
Only the supplement because another cat of mine went to empty like half a can of it :bookworm:

Actually I'm not sure whether the MC is truly MC. It's actually fancy feast CREAMY DELIGHTS. some said it was Medium some said Low. So I wasn't really sure

The carb% based on the Guaranteed Analysis says 10%. It might just be LC since I don't see anything in the Ingredients that could be carbs.
