13/05 Hercules AMPS: 400 ,+1: 513 ,+5: 185, +6: 158

I know.... I just wanted to cry this morning!
I really do not know what is going on. I tought today was going to be yet another bouncing day... Almost fell off the chair when I read his +4....

I know I am supposed to stick to some kind of pattern, but things shift every day..... As of +1 this morning I am thinking "carb sensitive" and of 5 days ago I was thinking "slow metabolizer". I am always wrong! :banghead: He is always changing....

I can't figure him out either. Just as I think I've got it, he proves me wrong!
I would maybe start considering switching insulin. Some experience that the bouncing reduces... and Herc is earned a prize for his bouncing

Omg that black came out of nowhere:eek::eek:

Sometimes he is on a steep dive so when you feed higher carbs you “only” slow him down which might look like he is not carbs sensitive. On the other hand, if he is already done diving and you give higher carbs he will start rising and it might look very carb sensitive. In my opinion Hercs is overall carb sensitive. With Chico we as well never know for sure if the honey will make him stop from falling or will make him rise.

I agree, as more often than not we get a food bump, and he usually responds strongly to honey. However, last week he was definetely not bumping, and diving.... Probably his pancreas was more active? who knows?

Have you done your travelling already?

how do you mean? That he wasn’t bumping but diving?
i think you did a great job at keeping him flatter in his active cycles

Have you done your travelling already?
We postponed it for this week, hoped it wouldnt be necessary but turns out it is :D i will let you know tomorrow how did it go, i guess we will see it in his numbers as well:nailbiting:
