Hello LL ~O)

I hope you're all well and your kitties are doing well too
I just wanted to check back in and say hello and tell you that Errol is doing really well. This past week has been his best. He is awake much of the time, at night I find him trying to catch bugs at the bathroom window, he chatters at birds outside (hasn't done that for ages), he is playing more with his toys, and his eyes are bright and round. He is responding very, very well to his all meat semi-raw diet. I'm just about to decide on which meat mincer I'm going to get - either a 1400W kitchen appliance type or the smallest industrial one. I am leaning toward the latter, but it is quite a big financial outlay. So until I bite the bullet I'll still be cutting his meat up with a pair of scissors

I have to say it was with some trepidation that I woke up this morning knowing it was time for Errol's weekly test. However, his numbers till look fine so phew - hugely relieved.

Take care you all and chat soon
Michele

now THAT is the kind of post i LOVE to read! Errol sounds like mr happy cat - and you sound pretty happy too.

awesome! i can't believe it's already been a week. you're the woman for doing the cat-food-making thing! you go!

so glad you stopped in. great to see you!

Thanks Julie :-D To me it feels like so much longer than a week  Yesterday, my DH told me that on the 6th which was Errol's last day of his otj trial, he was in the bath that evening, and Errol came in and stood up on his back legs and patted him gently on the shoulder and then laid his head against his arm. He thought it was as if to say 'thanks for helping me I'm feeling better now'. Kind of gave me a lump in my throat.

Oh, Michele, that gave me a lump in my throat, too. I had a moment like that with Cinco when he was first starting to feel better after we almost lost him. That makes it all worthwhile, doesn't it?

So glad Errol is doing so well. Please keep us posted on him. We're all so happy for you and your family! :-D Gotta love an FD success story.
