Well, he's now at 47. I gave another small LC snack with more honey this time. He seems to pick days when I have to leave for appointments to pull these stunts. I have to go at +4.25 so he'll get a carbed up lunch just before that and I'll hope for the best.

So much for that fattened dose ...

I was counting on my knowledge of his responses to keep fear at bay while I was out. I had the occasional mental image of coming home to a cat in crisis but I refused to dwell on that. And he ended up where I thought he would - on his way into trampoline land ... This is the up side of having a bouncer.

So very glad that Teasel came up. I would find it terrifying to leave when they've gone that low...

I often wonder - how low can they go? Could they drop into a crisis state while we're away, even if we leave MC or HC food out? Has this happened very often, I wonder?
