Yesterday

Still not as much action as I like to see from Ms P...she's making me nailbite_smile nailbite_smile nailbite_smile . Time to get REAL serious with the juice threats!!

Just another day in the life of TrixieCat here...happy appy, snuggly, kitty, and a couple good rounds with the dreaded gelcap. She was on adventures again this morning, hopping on tables and gazing out the front window at the rain. I actually haven't seen her jump on a table for the sole purpose of looking outside in quite some time, so it was a pretty sight to see!

@Ruth - I have noticed a correlation between Trix's numbers and her poop days. (Only in LL :lol: !!!) She will often, but not always, have high(er) numbers right before she makes a deposit. But, I still don't know for 100% sure if it was her left the poop-n-spit up combo in the LB room yesterday. I need a kitty cam in there!

Today is supposed to be my Dad's 7th round of chemo. Fingers crossed that his platelets will let it happen; if it shifts to next week, it throws off some family plans we have...I have a "big" birthday coming up in a few days (yikes - I just realized it's 5 days away), and we've scheduled lunches and dinners around my Dad having chemo this week. He's also hoping to skip chemo Christmas week....so we need today to go off without a hitch.

We've also got a ton of rain coming down from a Nor'Easter. At least it's rain and not snow, but hopefully it won't interfere with my Mom and I's ability to go shopping. We're going to try to make a dent in her Christmas shopping while my Dad is at the infusion.

Come on Trixie. Threats are being made. I think your bean might even be serious.

Love the snuggles, happy appy and jumping on tables to look outside. Sounds like all is right with your girl.

5 days? Woohoo!!! Party is up. Good chemo vines for your dad. I hope it goes off without a hitch. Have a great time shopping with your mom.

Hey Trixie, I've got a great idea for a birthday present for your mommabean. How about 5 days in a row of daytime Mr. Greenies? Work it Ms. P!

How great that Trixie was jumping up to look out the window. I hope she gives you some green soon. I hope your dad was able to get his chemo today. Sending prayers.

Oh, oh Trixie. I think she's getting serious. Better kick that P into gear.

Love that she's still finding old behaviors to pull out of her bag of Trixie tricks.

Vines all goes well with #7 for you DF. So tough when you don't know if he'll get treatment or get delayed. Can really mess up plans. So here's hope all goes well.

I was able to get in a +9 snack, so a little better this evening.

No chemo for my Dad....platelets too low again. Doc has decided to just put in on a 3-week schedule instead of a 2-week schedule, since this is how things have gone for 3 cycles now.

Hi Amy, I am so sorry to hear your dad had to skip chemo today -sending tons and tons of healing and comfort vines---also sending anti-snow vines for you as well! :YMHUG: :YMHUG: :YMHUG: As for Miss Trixie- hooray for that PMPG- that +9 snack and Ms.P are doing their thing!

I hope the change in the chemo schedule doesn't ruin your birthday plans. You still are seeing normal numbers and Trixie comes down after food so try not to worry. I know. Easier said than done! Mr. G please make an appearance tomorrow.

So sorry your DF couldn't do his chemo today. At least now you have a new schedule and know what's coming when. Hopefully he'll be able to stick to this one.

Miss Trixie, you and Ms. P need to get together and figure out how to get Mr. Greenie to come visit every day! Best birthday present you could give your Mamabean!
