I will def. be doing more pm mid-cycle sleep-tests to look for those (below 50) nadirs.

She was acting a little strange during those 60s: wide-eyed, antsy, pacing, drinking water semi-often, looked like she couldn't quite get comfortable... keeping an eye on this behavior. Back to normal this morning.

I'm trying a new food: Wellness Turkey. And she LOVES it! Yay! After a couple of weeks of picking at her combo of Merrick's BG/Cowboy Cookout (those 30-45 min. long eating sessions were trying my patience -- Ripley: nibble, Josie: coax, Ripley: nibble... and repeat). But yesterday I mixed in a little Wellness, and she ate her food like a hungry cat should :razz:

(Of course, she goes for the priciest -- takes after her mamabean ;-) )

Turning out to be a nice day! Ripley is out back, basking in the sun on her Adirondack chair -- one of her fave pastimes.

Hi Josie - what a beautiful day for Ripley! The numbers are wonderful. I suspect the antsy behavior was due to her realizing that she as going low. Mannie does that too. my cue to test and feed if needed. I am glad Ripley liked the wellness turkey. Mannie does too - it is one of his main foods.

Hi Josie, that is also the way Chip acts when he is going low. He goes right for the food and I can't even hold him still long enough to test him. He's normal now when in the 60's (I think he's used to those) but he gets hungry and antsy when he goes below 50, and other times when he is dropping fast.

Chip won't touch Cowboy Cookout either. It's too bad because that would be the perfect food for him. I keep thinking I need to pop one open when he is going low and starving, perhaps to get him started.
