Yesterday was more settling into the new dose. The day went from pink to blue and the PM from yellow to pink to who knows what - I went to bed. :lol: Amazing what good night's sleep can do. :-D

This is the 5th cycle on the new dose and it seems to be settling in nicely. This is the normal length of time for Neko to settle into an increase. She is spending a lot of time in the kitchen today, so I know she is dropping. She has only been out for a couple of quick forays - it's raining again today. But at least it's not snowing which it's supposed to be doing to the east of us. Neko has all of her P's present, including a whackfest with Theo and a good snuggle on DH's lap at our breakfast time. She really wanted part of this mornings pancakes!

I was hoping to do some shopping today, but it may be quick trips in between tests. The store that sells the freeze dried chicken hearts, quails necks and other raw food pet goodies is having a sale today. I'm debating getting some duck tongues, but they only come in large packages and I'd rather try a small package first.

Neko, did you get some of those pancakes? I suspect that with your going green that you did not... bummer! bummer on the no pancakes, not on the greens!

What a great cycle today: a nice recovery. I think too that she is settling into this dose. Looks good!

It is raining here too - a instant steady drizzle.. enough to keep one indoors. Snows in the mountains though - lots!

Duck tongues? :shock: Neko - Mannie expects a full report on those....

Have a good one Wendy - I hope Neko will allow for some excursions.

Little girl cat has a nice surf going on! DH handled testing while I went shopping for cat goodies. I got the old standby's of chicken hearts and quail necks. The duck tongues only came in the large package and I didn't feel like paying $38 for something they might not like. It was the second day of the store sale, so the smaller packages might have gone already. But they did give away two Xmas bags, each with a nice catnip pillow (a hit to each!) and a small bag of the good weed. :-D

@Carla - as requested, the surf continues!

@Liz - I much prefer when she surfs the 70's to the 50's. She nadired a lot in the 50's last time we were here. :roll:

@Michelle - Neko would have loved the blueberry pancakes and syrup, but the numbers said she didn't find any crumbs. :lol: She does seem to be fully settling into this dose again, but DH did the testing so I did get to go shopping. Just a light drizzle here, but it was supposed to snow to the east of us. The mountains yesterday looked beautiful in the sun.

@Ann - She definitely has a nice run of :mrgreen: :mrgreen: going.

Mannie and Maggie - she cheaped out on the duck tongues again! But I still got a quail neck for a snack and I do love those chicken hearts! ~Neko

To think she was green just a couple of hours ago. :lol: Given her 120 point drop from +4 to +6, I was expecting a bounce of some sort, and here it is.

Hi Wendy, How big is a duck tongue? It must take a lot of ducks to get a big bag? :razz:
I hope Neko clears her bounce quickly...but doesn't this mean you might get a good nights sleep? (anti-jinx)

Hi Mary, a duck tongue is about the size of my pinkie, 2 inches long and not too thick. There are a lot in the bag, but I get a lot more freeze dried chicken hearts for the dollar and they provide extra taurine. I never know with Neko what she has planned. I keep saying, she could go up or she could go down tonight. :lol: I won't know for a few hours yet.

Some people love ducks tongue too. We marinads it & cook it in soy sause with white pepper. :lol:

Hi Wendy, What a nice day for Neko. I guess she likes her new dose. The bounce was to be expected. Duck tongues? My, you sure have some interesting fuds up there! I can't even get the freeze-dried chicken treats locally anymore. I have to order them through Petfooddirect!

Looks almost the same as last night. Early sleepus for me!

@Helen - the duck tongues are freeze dried. The only place I've seen them for sale is the one pet food store.

@Ella - I'm hoping tonight will be like last night and set up for some greens again soon. We have quite a growing raw food market here, which means a growing raw food and treat (and BG friendly) industry too. I even saw some freeze dried venison and lamb in a different store last week - but WAY more expensive than chicken. It came from New Zealand.

Rusty - I'm going to try to get back, just need to catch my breath for a bit, surfing is hard work for me. ~N
