Yesterday I went to a football party with some friends ~1 hr away. I asked Mom to look after Mocha, and said testing wasn't a big deal because I felt like he was on a safe dose and had been giving us higher numbers. So what does he do while I am gone? Throws a 41 at her :o So glad she decided to check his nadir :? He got reduced to .5U this AM. But really, what is going on with my cat? I feel like we are tumbling thru the reductions at this point and I don't understand how we are earning them. He seems to be eating fine, not as much as when we first switched in November, but he was starved pretty much because of all his health problems, so I can understand him eating a little less these days.
confused_cat I know you shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth, but I am just so confused at this point.

That's always the big question..what's going on? There are no easy answers either

It seems that with a lot of cats, we keep increasing and then all the sudden, they come racing down the dose ladder. I know I've seen it before...they go up until they hit some kind of "breakthrough" dose, and then are going down down down

About all you can do is just keep on keeping on and see what happens. Thank goodness your mom was able to get that test in today!!

Now come on Mocha...time to stop bouncing!!

Definitely an excellent catch by your Mom! Mocha seems to be a bouncer, for now, but he does respond well to the juice, too. Unfortunately FD is a confusing disease for all of this...it becomes a LITTLE clearer as time passes...but not always!

Thanx for the visits guys. I will keep my patience pants on :? Just wish he would settle in already.

On that note,
Quite a jump from PMPS to his +2. Gave him a T. of MC food to slow his descent, looks like we might be staying up tonight :YMSIGH: We shall see at his +4 what things look like...

Yep, it does look like Mocha is on a mission tonight - great catch!!! There he goes working that juice again. Hopefully the MC will level him off into a nice surf. Be safe for your MamaBean so she can catch some ZZZzzzs, Mocha!!
 
Is the meter stuck? :-| I got 270 for Mocha's +4.

I know the meter isn't stuck, but it is so uncanny to get the same number twice in a row. I think I will set my clock for his +6 anyways, just in case it is the food that is keeping the low numbers at bay.
