For today I proudly offer Mannie's special 10 hr energy coffee, and triple shot espressos, with beans from Hawaiian coffee plantations: Hawaii Ka'u blend, AND.... for all my Mocha fans: Venti quad Irish cream infused white mocha, with hazelnut and caramel whip, garnished with caramelized nut clusters and white chocolate shavings. OOOOOOOOOOO!, PRIMO! Only the best for all my customers.... OH! Tea infusions too, by request. they is primo! I SWEAR! Today: cranberry orange!

Yesterday was..... "Mannie passed BP recheck " day in MannieLand. The meds are working. He tested at 180 initially (better than the 210/220 he was) and then settled into 150 after a few minutes, once he realized that they were not going to poke him with anything, or take any samples, or stick him with anything. So.... we will continue on the current dose of amlodipine, and recheck in a month. This was good news. Mannie started out yesterday with a really nice low blue, and as always, since the UTI with his appy stuff, and the meds etc he shot up for his +2. It was nice to see him recover to the blues, only to have him shoot up again. Maybe those pinks were delayed vetty Stress? No clue... probably Mannie just being Mannie. We hope for a good day today, some blues and greens would be very cool. With that amps, we are off to a great start! :mrgreen: Lubs ya Big guy! cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. He did well at the vetty, didn't seem to overly concerned while there, or when he got home. We got a weather break about that time with even a few rays of sun. So I let him out to explore his domain, a small suburb called NannerVille, located within the heart of MannieLand. He made his rounds, secured the perimeter, and checked all the fences, even sat in the ground cover patch for a few. :-D :-D When he came in an inspection was required, where I removed countless pine needles, spruce sprigs, mud, and a few decomposing leaves.... why must he always bring in half the yard. :lol: :lol: The rest of the day was spent napping... no doubt in serious DGS recovery mode, after 5 days with the tiny hooman. This morning we had a great test, feed and shoot and clean plate club , purrs and lots of cuddles. Normalcy in MannieLand. :cool:

Have a great day everyone. It will be another catch up day for me: bills,financials, and at last: the Christmas tree ornaments. Bound and determined to get that done this weekend, for sure! Got the tree up yesterday, lights on, but that was about it... I hope too that the weather will allow for a walk/hike here locally. Paws crossed!!!

Hey everybody! WOW on BJ's OTJ party last night! That was so cool - I lubbed it cuz I gots to cook with fuds from home!! I so love the Seafuds.... awesome! Sure was funs at the IHOP with Maui and everyone too. Lubs it there for breffis - thanks Maui! I was thinking after the party last night and out NYC travel we could use a sunny chillaxin' today on the beach.... hey Maggie - how is it in sunny CA? Can we huh???? OR maybe just back to Rusty's and those radiators!!! WARM! You guys in??? ~~ Mannie

Morning Michelle and wow with Mannie's AMPS! :mrgreen: I wonder what the day will bring with the green! So glad mannie's b/p meds are working. What is normal b/p for a kitty? Mags is borderline, and I have a feeling she will be on meds eventually. Yay for yard patrol finally, Mannie. :lol: So funny with Mannie bringing in part of the yard. Have a nice day on catch-up and maybe a walk if weather permits.

Mannie, yay and yes, come to the beaches. It will reach 70 this afternoon and lots of sun. We have a real nice beach in Del Mar, and part of it is dog beach, so we could go watch the droolers play in the sand and ocean. There are plenty of neat places to get a bite, burgers, ice cream, hot dogs, you name it. We can fit in Rusty's porch, too, and anything else the kitties want to explore. See ya at the curb, Mags

237 @ +1. WOW.... so much for being a green kitty. :shock: :roll: well, it was expected, part of the new pattern since being on the Clav and the heart meds. We hope he can bring it back down. GO MANNIE!!!!

He must have surfed there a bit last night - so so nice to see. :-D I hope he can get back there - quite the spike at +1. :shock: Yes, so it seems on the BP. Normal BP, I am told, for a cat is 100-120. factor in vet stress when they go to have it taken: 160/170 is then considered OK. I so wish I could get it done at home, then we would know for sure where truly is at, when at rest. I need to see how to get that done... and a big YES on the yard patrol for Mannie. He was happy to be out, happy I am sure to bring in half the yard with him. :lol: THX on the walk - I hope so. I wish I could have gone yesterday - just didn't have time....

190 @ +4. YAY! we are back to the blues. Appy is now an issue this morning. He wants to eat, but little appeals to him. I am grateful that he did eat well throng his +2. He did eat some greek yogurt, so hopefully that will settle things for him, so he feels like eating.

Morning Mary ~O) ~O) ~O) LOL on the yard in the fur - it is true. he does have a gorgeous coat, and the belly fur is so longggggggggg - a natural yard debris collector. :lol: :lol: He seems to be so so today... darn AB's are taking their toll, but he's alert, active (as much as he usually is), just not big on the fuds right now... I will e so glad when the AB's and done! 6 more days to go. :cool:

Hi Michelle and Mannie, glad to see he is coming back down! Greek yogurt huh? Sending some good appy vines your way, fortunately Mr Scrabble will eat just about anything I put in front of him. Hi Michelle - me too. That sure was a spike up this morning. :shock: Yupp, greek yogurt, active live cultures - i hear it works... sure hope so. Mannie normally will too - eat just about anything. But since his Giardia and now these UTI's - his food indulgence has really changed. He eats well, but can be very picky. Tree is now complete: just finished it up. WOO HOO on that... so glad that is done. :-D THX: we are recovered, and fully operational again. :cool:

I hope you got your tree decorated. I did mine last week.....but it's only 2 feet tall. :lol: I had to use a tablecloth under it, because himself chews on the fluffy stuff. He won't leave the tree alone. One of the things I 'grumble loudly', about. :evil:

Another excellent day for Mannie today, keep on keeping blue! Nice to see that green start, if not a bit surprising. :-D Enjoy the tree decorating Michelle, there seems to be a lot of tree activities happening in LL today.

And Mannie, I'll take one of those tea infusions, please. ~O) I was at an event yesterday where someone had brought in some Trader Joe's vanilla and cinnamon tea - yumm! We don't have Trader Joe's here so that was a special treat.

Hi Barb LOL on the grumbling... Mannie pretty much leaves the tree alone - he loves to sleep under it, though interestingly enough he hasn't been there yet. The tree is up, lighted and decorated -as much as it will be. My DD's cat climbs theirs - they will find him sleeping in the branches. :shock: :lol: -- Me too on the blues. I think once the AB's are done and he feels great things will be more and more into the blues. Sure hope so. Now that the heart eds are on board and he is doing well with them. Maybe more greens too. Something to look forward too. :-D

Hi Wendy -It was a good one today for him - lots of blues some green and a splattering of yellow. overall, a good one. Tree is done - looks good. I noticed that too: lots of trees going up today. :-D :cool: Trader Joes does have some of the best things - different unique things. I love it there. I will have to look for that vanilla and cinnamon tea the next time I go there.

255 @ PMPS. Not too bad. We are down some from his +9. :-D WOW on the fuds tonight - 5 can before I found one that was deemed eatable. These AB's cannot be done soon enough.... :roll: :roll:
