12/9 - Fur Ball Update

Good LL morning everyone.

We haven't posted for a while so thought we'd open up a condo on this COLD day. Only got a dusting of snow but its cold out there.

Fur Ball is doing great. Test him this morning and his BG was 46. We are so incredibly happy with life at the falls. He is still needing to lose some weight and does not seem to like the minorly reduced portions. He is definitely ready for meal times when they get her.

He seemed to have survived the rooting experienced. It was over a week of noise on our condo though and he spent that time under the bed. They are still working on the complex and the noisy trucks will still send him under the bed. Of course, he also found a new 'hiding' spot....the spare bathroom under-the-sink cupboard with all the towels. Oooo. What a comfy spot. DH started shutting the bathroom door but evidently left it open last night. This morning FB seemed to have been needing a more comfortable resting space and he had pulled 3 of the towels out. Crazy kitty.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend. I try to get around to visiting as I can. Even if I'm not able to post, I try to at least read up and see how all the LL critters are faring.

it's nice to see you and get an update on Fur Ball. I'm so glad even the stress of the roofing work didn't seem to affect him! :mrgreen: :mrgreen: That's cute that Fur Ball can make his own bed with your previously folded towels :lol: Keep enjoying that life at the falls!

It's great to hear that Furr Ball continues to do well. My sister's kitty likes the under the sink location, as well. Soft, dark and it drives my sister crazy when she's looking for the cat (who is partially deaf so doesn't come come when called).

Good morning Karen. It's nice to read such a great update on Fur Ball. I think cats are the masters at hide and seek. How can something that large hide from us so well. :lol:

It's nice to see a Fur Ball Update and to hear how much he is enjoying living at The Falls although they don't seem to feed as much food there ;-) I'm glad he survived the reroofing experience. J.D. sometimes hides in my linen closet and makes mess of it, but I bet it's real comfy and feels safe in the dark closet.

I'm glad Fur Ball is doing so well. Isn't it funny the places cats decide to sleep sometimes. I guess Fur Ball didn't like those extra towels in his spot. :lol:
