Well, I think it was 233. I can't remember and I forgot to write it on my hand this morning. I also need to update his spreadsheet with numbers from this weekend. He was pretty flat and I was pretty pleased with how much he is slowing sweeping downward at least for pre-shot numbers. I really think he needs a good 2-3 weeks on a dose to stabilize. This increase isn't causing the bouncing that it did before. Also, he is being locked in his room for the time being because he is peeing on my chair regularly. I think he is afraid of getting upstairs to his box and he won't use the one downstairs so I am going to buy an identical box and use the same Cat Attract litter he likes, to replace the downstairs box to see if that solves the problem. Poor guy - I hate hearing him cry at the door.

I wasn't able to post this weekend because we were readying for the storms we got yesterday, today and another is due tomorrow. I also let kittens out and had to watch them or more like pick-up after them constantly. Oh and I could not put my wine glass down because little Katy became obsessed with sticking her face in it. Little wino - that one! I did find a good home for both of my mother's cats together so I can relax a little in getting these babies adopted. I may just keep the mother - she is super sweet and still a kitten herself - and she loves the raw.

Re: 12/9 Alska AMPS=233

Glad to see a post for Alska. Was getting a teensy bit worried, not seeing anything from you for a couple of days Robin.

Nice that you have found homes for a couple of your mom's cats! Maybe Alska will feel less stressed with fewer cats in the household.

Hope the storms only leave you with a little bit of snow, just enough to make it look pretty, but keep the roads passable. We got a nice 2 inches here on the coast of Massachusetts, and then it rained so I only had to clear about an inch of heavy slush.

Hahaha! You sound like me in half my condos.

For your chair, not sure how you're able to clean it, but if you can, you want to buy an enzyme cleaner because regular household products won't fully get the urine smell out so they'll keep going in the same spot once it's been "marked" as a litter box.

Thanks KPassa - Fizzion is a godsend for sure. I purchased an identical litterbox to his and as soon as the litter gets low, I will replace it with his favorite litter so he feels more comfortable using it downstairs when he feels trapped there. I hope that does the trick. He and my boy civvies love watching the kittens run around the downstairs. He lets them know if they get too close. Alska even likes to swat at their paws under the door when they are confined to their room. I have let him out for the evening only because there was a recent pee and poo in his box.

Deb - we got freezing rain this morning and now are expecting 2-5 inches starting at rush hour tomorrow morning. I have to file a brief tomorrow so I have to go in - even if it is to our Virginia office.

Also, the laptop is in the kitten room so they are either walking back and forth over the keyboard or trying to climb my legs.

Can't wait to see what they all think about the live Christmas tree that goes up this weekend

Fizzion! That's the one I was thinking of! Glad you already knew that trick. ;-)

Last year, we got our Christmas tree so late that it was gone before Skitty Kitty Mikey was used to it enough to actually approach the thing. And I haven't had Henry with a Christmas tree yet, so it'll be interesting to see what havoc he'll wreck when I also get mine this weekend. :o
