Twice is a happy flat purry cat. He is also a snuggly lazy cat this morning and I am sooooo comfy right now :-D

Today is big cleaning day for me. Got a couple of small electrical jobs to knock off this morning as well...so I'm procrastinating getting out of bed :lol:

The strays are getting a bit TOO comfy :lol: ...hopefully the weather warms up a bit soon. They see the door open and literally run the other way :roll: Spoiled already! Today is not the day they should go back out anyways. We have a severe windchill warning in effect with temp in the -40's. Says frostbite could occur in as little as 5-10 minutes. I would like to take this opportunity to tell Rachel she can have her weather back :lol: :lol: And warn Amy I'm sending it straight out!

You're in bed typing? How nice. Now, you're making me want to go back to bed with J.D.

It's cold here too, and freezing rain predicted, and I have to go out in it to go Christmas shopping.

Beautiful AMPS Twice :mrgreen: I wish you could teach J.D. to relax in green numbers and surf.

Love the strays, they know a good thing when they see it. :-D no dummies there! It is so nice you let them in. It is just too cold there for anyone to be left outside. Kudos to you!

Hi Kim,
That is COLD!! And -40 is the magic number: it's the same for Celsius and Fahrenheit! You can keep it out where you live!! Those strays are very lucky to have you.

Twice is lookin' good this morning; keep a sharp eye on him, however. He could drop since his +2 is the same as AMPS.

Oh, thanks sooo much Kim :lol: but we already have our own, -27 C here yesterday morning and -28 today, and same as you that official little red severe windchill warning of -42 from Environment Canada. I'm telling you though, I hated winters in Taiwan more. 10 C when it's raining and there is no heating anywhere is way more disgusting! Three cheers for central heating . . . took Papaya a while to figure out the idea of lying on a warm radiator though!

Twice is impressively flat! :mrgreen: Sounds like he's doing a good job of keeping you from getting up, too! Enjoy the warm coziness, it's that kind of a day!

Dyana- be careful out there with that freezing rain :shock: Not the nicest stuff to travel in! I wish Twice could rub a little of his luck off on everyone. Just hope he can keep at it. Oh, he just said he's sending greenios out to the kittehs! Good boy Twice!

Michelle- I am fully planning to stay in hiding today with the kits and droolers. It is nasty out there! :o I'm happy I can help these guys any way I can...but I hope they understand when they get 'evicted' :lol:

Ella-Thank you for the tip! Just got a +5 76. I think he's wanting to stay on his board for awhile :mrgreen: Whew!

Amy- Doh!! :o You seen that did you :lol: :lol: I didn't know Taiwan didn't have central heating! That would be a crummy feeling; cold, damp and no heat. So many things I take for granted..Viva North America! I imagine it was a magical day for Papaya when she discovered the radiator :lol:

Pam- It has been a very nice morning, but alas, time to get up and do something :roll: Wish I could just make more coffee and go right btb again :lol:

Mama stray (Caqui) took off this morning back outside. She did this three times and the third was the last I saw of her...for now. She left her kids here so I'm guessing she'll be back soon. She has pretty much lived in our yard since birth almost two years ago, and never really roams far. But she does like to drop her family off and skedaddle for awhile ;-) Just since this summer she has let us near her and finally pet her. Once we started feeding her the soft food, that's when she brought her children over :lol: Smart kitty!

Is that a new avatar picture? Cute! Wow, just when I think it is cold here, I hear a weather report from you Canadians and all of a sudden our -2 doesn't sound as bad. Stay warm and thanks for keeping the strays warm! Have a good day!

I love Twice's numbers!! Very exciting! I had to :lol: at the strays running the other way. They know a good thing!

Hope you get some things accomplished today ~ it is so hard to give up a good btb!

Haha, sorry, didn't mean to pass that weather along. I think Amy already has the beginnings of it, looks like :shock: We're expecting snow now, up to 15cm by end of tomorrow...blech. Just when I finally had the driveway shovelled. Why do I live here again?? ;-)

Melissa-Glad you like his new avatar :-D I'm such a proud mama! Hopefully our cold temps will keep you feeling a bit warmer :lol: ;-)

Carla- He's really getting the hang of it on this dose. And yes, my fear is that they will never go back out. :lol: All 4 ventured out for a bit earlier and one little kitten hasn't come back. It's been about 4 hours. Hope he's tucked up somewhere!

Jane- These are very happy numbers indeed. Yet I still get that twinge of fear that he's going to drop on me..especially if I'm not here. Green is great and scary :? And nope, didn't get a whole lot done today :lol:

Rachel- Please keep the snow your way :lol: And look at it this way, you are well practised at shovelling so it should be a breeze...yeah right :lol: I often wonder the same thing...Why am I not back in the Okanagan :lol:

Tara-Sorry to make you cold :lol: Didn't get much cleaning done, just kinda moved stuff from one area to another, then to a closet :lol:

Mariko- You breath shallow! It's nasty on the lungs when it's that cold, but most people try to stay in and avoid that kind of weather. ;-) Mama didn't only NOT bring back rent, she lost a child :roll: I'm watching steady for the wee guy to show up.

Twice is looking fantastic today! Congrats on such a :mrgreen: day! I just laughed so hard at the thought of -40. I'm not sure that George Clooney could convince me to live someplace that reached -40. As much as I hate the heat and humidity and lack of longer fall-like weather patterns...I'm ok with it being in the 70s and 80s right now! :-D

Glad to hear that those stray kitties have the right idea of staying in with you guys. Warm and snuggly with good people that feed them yummy fuds! :-D Stay warm, Kim & family!!!
