I am going to work, he is eating. I feel it’s time to try reduction? Agree? I will stay home and be late if I have to, what to do???
 
You can't walk out the door with a pre-shot number that low. Even with a reduction, it's not safe. You do NOT want to try to shoot any number below 50.

If you need to get to work, you need to skip the shot. Just think of it like having given a fur shot.

If you want to shoot, you're going to be very late to work. It's likely that you will have to monitor for several hours.
 
The 70 is a food spike. What +time was the 70. It's not on your spreadsheet.

If you are thinking about stalling, in most cases you do not want to feed your cat. However numbers in the 40s are the exception. You feed the 40s (and below). This makes deducing what to do a problem, though, given that the numbers may reflect the influence of food.
 
Bonnie asked in a PM if she can give 1.0u in order to not lose momentum. I can't answer without knowing when the 70 was.

I'm very apprehensive about your shooting. You're not home to monitor and I don't have a good feel for whether Zeke will bounce or if his numbers will drop. As I said previously, the 70 is likely a food spike.

Have you retested?
 
Apologies for poking my nose in, but you will need to tell @Sienne and Gabby (GA) what that time is relative to your PMPS. We are all in different time zones, so that 73 was that at PM +1 or at PM +.0.5 or ?

8:42 doesn't mean anything. What is the +time -- how long after your usual shot time or when you fed Zeke. I have no frame of reference to know what the numbers are in relationship to when you fed Zeke. ''I'm trying to read back through eh thread and it looks alike it's been about 30 min.

Bottom line - if this were my cat, I would be very apprehensive about shooting and walking out the door. You are hours from nadir. You have no idea if a reduced dose will keep Zeke safe or if the depot will kick in.
 
Roughly 2 hours is the effect of a food spike. There's a good chance Zeke's numbers will drop if you shoot. And, at this point you're shooting almost 2 hours late which will totally mess with your schedule in the AM. Your AM shot will be due 12 hours after you actually shoot.
 
Actually it’s more like 1.25. Thanks, this is my first message board, still getting use to it. Did not shoot.
