Good Morning, Everyone,

After the 51 at the start of onset and scarfing 'n barfing his nighttime snack, Rusty settled down and slept all night. He apparently did hear his automat open at +8.5 (3:00 A.M.) and got up then to eat the FF T&G I left for him, but the bad beans slept through it all and didn't test him!! He woke us up with long head butts. This morning he was raring to go. Good test, feed (Wellness turkey), and shot. He's chillaxin' on his cushion next to the radiator.
We have about an inch of snow and it is snowing pretty hard at the moment. I'm going on a 6-mile hike today alongside the Racquette River. Should be beautiful in the new snow. Edward and Rusty will hold the fort. Edward can't test, but he can observe and has instructions on what to feed, when. I'll be back by +9 or so.

Wishing you all a wonderful day and sending healing vines to Tawny, Rocket, and all kitties and beans who need them.

Ella & Rusty

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOO - a hike in fresh snow???? I am so jealous!!!! Enjoy - I am sure it will be so so nice! Maybe a photo or two? :-D

What a great start for Rusty - saw that 51 last night - way ti go Rusty! Good though that he heard and ate from his feeder. I would have slept through it too.... :-D

Have a great hike, don't worry about Rusty - Edward will no doubt hold down teh fort just fine. have a good time.

Mighty fine start for Rusty after a great night! I do so admire you ladies who do things in snow. I can remember playing in snow as a child, but since age 12 I have been a Floridian. Now, white, cold, wet stuff falling from the sky would make me want to hide under a pile of blankets. Enjoy the snow!

Hi Ella, have a great hike today, very exciting! I think the FF T & G helped get Rusty back up to safe ranges.
Maggie's fav fuds, too!

Re: 12/8 Rusty AMPS 118, +3.5 105, +9 116, PMPS 151

Hi again,
We all had a good day. The hike along the Racquette River was beautiful and included a bushwhack--always fun. It wasn't too cold and we had a fine time. There were 12 of us. Edward and Rusty spent a brief time outdoors in the snow, watching squirrels, but Rusty didn't want to stay out long. It looks as if he may have hit green sometime between +3 and +9, but then a rather steep rise to PMPS. Only Rusty knows for sure!!

I hope everyone had a good day and want to visit some condos now before I collapse in front of the TV!
