Good Morning, Everyone,

Rusty has a good AMPS this morning. He ate all of his nighttime food and had a good night sleeping with his beans. This morning we had a good test, shot, and Wellness Chicken breakfast (1st sitting eaten). He is now in his little bed by the radiator and I am about to go down and invite him to schmooze with me on the couch. It is so dark and dreary this morning. We have no snow on the ground, and therefore it looks even darker than it is. The beans plan to go to the Met-in-HD telecast this afternoon (Verdi's "Un Ballo in Mascara"). Since this is the first of the weekly Met radio broadcasts, Rusty will be able to listen to the opera while we are at the movie theater, watching it.

Farmers' market this morning will be outside, because there is a crafts fair in the town hall and therefore no room for the farmers. Rain/sleet/snow is the weather forecast, but I'm sure the farmers will be there. They are a hardy lot!

I'm sure you are enjoying your afternoon "At The Met". And Rusty is probably directing the kitty orchestra from his platform on the radiator?

A nice blue surf so you can go watch the opera without worries, Rusty is such a sweetheart.

Hi again,
The opera was superb. The singers were terrific, as was this excellent new production. I hope Rusty enjoyed listening to it, too. He was waiting for us on his perch when we got home. His PMPS suggests that he had some greens this afternoon. Now for a relaxing evening,

Glad you had a good day of music.....as did Rusty :smile: How do you know he wouldn't rather listen to Grand Ol' Opry? :lol:
 
:lol: Rusty doesn't have a choice in what he listens to! As far as we can determine, he doesn't really care. Stu didn't care, either. But Alice--she loved opera, especially German opera, and would go out of her way to hear Wagner and Strauss (and she also liked Gregorian Chant). She could match pitches and sing long passages pitch perfect (but without any rhythm--all the notes were always the same length). Once she sang the entire overture to Mozart's "The Marriage of Figaro"!

Vegged out tonight without visiting many condos. Will do better tomorrow. Everyone enjoy the evening,

My cats listen to Buddist chanting & songs. I dont know if they love it or not but believe it's calming & good for their spirit :lol:

Dont worry about visting condo Ella, we all understand how busy it must be during this time of the year.
 
Hi Ella - a late visit for me... sorry. This is becoming a habit... The opera sounds wonderful! I remember your stories of Alice and her singing. Does Rusty still do that?

Very nice day BG-wise for Rusty! I too suspect he visited the lagoon today. Good job Rusty!!
