Good Morning Everyone,

Cold here this morning (12 degrees F.) and light snow still coming down (but not anything like the "Lake-Effect" areas, where one town near Buffalo now has 48 inches of snow (in the last 2 days)!! Lakes Erie and Ontario are whipping it up early this winter.
Rusty had a good night again. All food was eaten. He slept between his beans. Cold ears this morning and it took 5 pokes to get blood, but Rusty was very good and didn't complain. He got his treats, his breakfast, and his shot (not a fur shot!). Then we played with "Big Bug". Wow, does this boy really get into that game: tearing around, pouncing, jumping. He loves it. I still worry a bit about the wire when he bites down on it and am going to find something to wrap the end. At the moment he is on his perch over the radiator (when I opened the insulating curtains this morning a blast of cold air came in).

Oh...my goodness...THAT is cold Ella.....I love to hear how he sleeps between you at night. So cute!

Nice AMPS and great WCR. I love snuggling kitties in bed. Tess isn't back onto that routine yet, she likes to do a rotation. :roll:

Ella...I always love your reports because each day gets better for Rusty and you and Edward!!! He's really settling in and I'm glad to hear his pokes are going better. It must be so fun to have him there with all his cuddling and play time!!! I hope you all stay nice and warm today and I cannot tell you how MUCH Mike, Gracie, and I appreciate your diligent visiting of our condo and positive thoughts esp on days when I am so busy at work and can't get to condos.

WHat a great cat - and he knows the art of play. I love to read his play reports. Go Rusty! Still my fav part is hi sleeping with you at night. It is the bst.

Hey Rusty - you wanna come to the west coast? We are hanging in Tess's greenhouse for a while and grillin' lizards. Then we are off to Gracie's to hang by the pool. Her papabean is making us deviled quail eggs, and niptinis - blueberry infused niptinis!! I hope you can come - do you need a ride? ~~ Mannie

Hey Mannie, I'd love to come to the West Coast and grill and drink niptinis. Is it too late to come to get me? Hope not (my mamabean's been out shopping.

Hi Ella,

Well I guess I can't complain about my 23 degress. :shock: I can tell Rusty loves his beans and is figuring out the poking thing isn't all that bad. Glad that it is going better. Oh and I love a snuggley kitty too. :-D

It was a cold start for us this morning too but it was not that cold so happy to hear how great Rusty is doing and love his blue surf :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

Hi again,
Just wanted to report that I boiled a chicken thigh for Rusty, cut it up into lots of pieces for treats, and he really enjoyed the first treat this evening, after his test. Really flat low blue today. He has such great numbers!

Rusty certainly is enjoying his new home. He has nice numbers. Glad he liked the chicken treat. It was cold here this morning 30 - we set a new record. Not to be so cold tomorrow, in the 70s on Saturday and then 40s on Sunday. Have a good night and stay warm. Hope Rusty croons to you tonight.
