Morning all!!! 17 more sleeps til Christmas!!!!
just doing the countdown for those of you who are not prepared (i'm not!)..... :lol:

looks like we'll get some snow later today...i love the snow but hate the cold weather that comes with it.... ;-)

WCR: last nights pmps were higher than they have been...and i wondered if it was cause he threw up 45 mins before shot time...could that influence the #?

he seemed alright after that i think he must have gotten into one of the planters outside....we will have to fix that problem, won't we? :smile:

i don't seem to be able to hear the darn alarm in the wee hrs so based on his SS i only got as far as +6.5 79.2
i really tried getting the +9 or +11 but i couldn't drag my a** out of bed....though he woke me up at 4:45 am to be fed but i had to distract him with lots of belly rubbing and cuddles...that bought me enough time til 5:30 am (shot time)...those pj parties are gonna kill me!!! :lol:

so far:
AMPS 108 he ate here and must have eaten what i left him btwn +0.5 and +1.5
+2 82.8
+3 72...chicken dust and fluids given shortly after testing....

should i be increasing his dose by now to 0.75u or will he forever be on 0.5u? anyone with dose advise?

No advice on the dose, I've been wondering the same thing. Rockets numbers are so nice and consistent though.

I could have gone ALL day without knowing this :lol: :lol: :lol: We barely to got the tree up (hoping Tobey doesn't take it down) and haven't deco'd the house, done the Xmas cards, done the charities, bought books for the little ones....oh my word....and I only have 17 days!!!

Wow...I think his numbers are gorgeous and, like Ann, very consistent. Don't know about the dosecrease. I know where you want to be headed back to, tho, and can't blame you! Have a great day...enjoy the snow. It's going to be mid to high 70s here today...sorry :lol: :lol:

question: is it normal for him to twitch his ears? he's been doing that since yesterday....is the enough poking actually and finally getting to him? i put vaseline soon after testing....has anyone experience that?

:lol: thanks for the countdown reminder my son keeps posting a disney cartoon on facebook each day with the countdown and no I am not ready at all but at least as of now my tree and decor is done for the most part maybe some lights here and there to add. Great pmps for Rocket tonight :razz:

Simon has also been twitching his ears over the last day or two. I would also like to know if this is normal after so many pokes.

My cat twitches his ears a little bit sometimes after testing, but not for long. I think it's because one of my fingers or something tickled his ear. Could a piece of cotton ball or anything like that have fallen in his ear?

no cotton....nothing inside the ears...i've looked inside carefully...and sometimes the twitching wakes him up...he twitches both not just one...makes no sense...

Maybe it's a nervous tic??! I use the Neosporin creme with pain killer after testing. Normally I would only use it in the evening, after the last test of the day, but with Rusty, who wasn't used to being tested more than twice a day, I use it more frequently. The creme, I think, is better than Vaseline or the Neosporin ointment because it doesn't clog up the pores.
Rocket has really good numbers. Do you have to adjust his dose?

thanks Ella...sent DH just now to go get me some at the pharmacy....we'll see how it goes...that twitching just started yesterday though....i don't know anything on the dose just yet....have not received reply from the experts.... :sad:

i have had couple of questions throughout my posts...i'd like to know if
1) based on tonight's cycle (see SS)...have we gotten stuck (plateau) at this dose that it's not really doing what it was doing?
2) tonight has been a different cycle...am i going to have a long long night based on the #s so far?
3) dose advise...
he seems to be ok otherwise...

i will be home to monitor him should an increase be ok....i guess tonight's cycle has me a bit confused when he's been pretty consistent on the #s....i do not know what to make of it all....

thoughts? suggestions? advise? criticism? ALL is welcomed!

+4.5 77.4 he doesn't have much of an appetite....he ate at pmps and i fed him at +2....not into food tonight! hmmm
