got home from work today and was greeted by punkin's very bright green eyes! pupils nicely contracted - gives me hope that the tumor will eventually shrink to a point where his eyes will be working normally again. he's mr happy boy - up on the table, snoozing and purring.

we dropped the dose a tiny this morning with the less-than-200 amps and i guess that's the reason for the mid-day numbers being a little higher. that's ok, at least it's not super high.

Since Punkin is showing his pretty green eyes, maybe it IS time to put him in a cute outfit....may he can be an elf for Christmas!! :lol: :lol: His numbers are looking so awesome. I know you must be very happy with your decision to do the SRT!!

I saw your post in Champ's condo about the over-the-counter arthritis meds. I had him on Dasuquin, which seemed to work well for him. Because I planned to take him to the vet and get Adequan, I didn't get anymore of the Dasuquin. Then my biggest account took a three-week vacation, is getting ready to go away for two more weeks here very shortly, so I just couldn't get him to the vet. I knew my paycheck was going to be minimal for a while. I may just get another bottle of the Dasuquin to use until I can get him to the vet. He's just a stoic dude, too. Doesn't complain at all (like he's going to start talking just so he can b!tch at me about his arthritis pain!!). :lol: :lol:

Those are some nice numbers for Punkin and yay on his eyes.

Happy for punkin's eyes getting better!! Always inspiring when you see improvement--Hopes for a full recovery!

punkin just was hiding in a paper bag in the kitchen. :-D

and anya did her "i killed it" cry and came running into the living room with a plastic baggie in her mouth. she deposited it under the coffee table and looked around for approval. silly kitter! she's such a hoot.

wahoo, our house is just a hotbed of action tonight! :lol: i love those cats.

i have no regrets at all about doing the SRT, patty - the only downside is that it's going to be a while before it's paid off. but what is money for if you don't spend it to help those you love? he just seems SO much better, even if he's still on insulin he's acting, feeling and looking healthier. that's what it's all about.
 
Hi Julie, thank you for your comment about the clindamycin. It's very reassuring to hear what works for other kitties. That is so great about punkin's pupils! He's doing great. Anya, she is quite the hunter. :lol:
