NOTE: Pumbaa's SS is in reverse, with the most recent data at the top.
What an absolutely beautiful day for my little guy! AMPS was 98, then he went up to 113, then went down to 105 @ AM +4, and had a PMPS of 170.
I have updated the recent entries in the "Foods" column on Pumbaa's SS to the new numbers from Dr. Lisa's food content analysis SS. I found it interesting that, although the carb values went up a percentage point on the most frequent foods I give my boys, the fat values went down and the protein values went up. I also went to PetsMart today, and bought the normal low-carb Friskies Pates (Special Diet, as those are lower in both carbs and Potassium), but also purchased some higher (9, instead of 4, 5 or 7) carbed food so that I can try and steer Pumbaa's lows with food, instead of resorting to giving HC gravy or honey when he's dropped very low.
One of these days I need to make the trek to Harbor Freight and get a digital caliper, to make my dosing much more precise. I do pull out and depress the plunger a couple of times before inserting the syringe in the pen, and make note of where the plunger lines up (above the zero line, even with the zero line, or below the zero line), and dose accordingly. But I think the calipers will make my life easier.
I did massive yard work this afternoon, and am pooped. I hope my cellphone alarm will wake me up for Pumbaa testing time, while I try to nap on the sofa. (After cooking dinner, and cleaning the litter box, and taking a much-needed shower. Not necessarily in that order. Litter box comes first!)
Have wonderful Sundays, you all.
