Boing! Papaya is back on her trampoline. I didn't post yesterday but it was just the same - black preshots dropping so fast into blue that she bounces up again. I notice she has been really hungry a couple hour after the shot lately, no doubt as she feels her blood sugar dropping so fast. Otherwise she seems to be feeling pretty good, coming out to the kitchen for meals and being snuggly. She was quite the explorer yesterday and was wanting to get up to look out the window, so I put her bed on top of the radiator next to the window and let her snooze in the sunshine and watch passerby for a while. It's -27 C again this morning (-18 F) with a windchill in the -40s in either C or F so if I could sit on top of the radiator I would too! Have a nice Sunday, everyone.

Papaya certainly is a bouncing queen!

Your weather sounds miserable. Stay warm and stay inside if you can.

Morning Pam and Sienne! Nothing like hearing about someone else's weather to make you feel warm, right? :lol: I DO have to go out this aft which meant I was running outside in parka-over-PJs to plug my car in this morning - even in the garage I'm not sure if it would start cold at these temps. But it will make coming home later to a warm house and purry cat that much nicer!

Papaya is very close to green now at +6 . . . think her liver would "chill out" if she took a whiff of the air outside? At this point anything lower than 500 is going to make me happy at PMPS :roll:

I hope Papaya doesn't bounce back up really high again tonight. I hope you can stay warm while you go out this afternoon.

Haha, I've been there outside in my pajamas plugging my car in :lol: You beat me today on the weather! -14 with 10cm of snow and 5 more tomorrow...I'm not sure if I want to go back to the -33C with -44 wind chill or shovel again :shock: :? Sorry about the bouncy bounce again, Papaya loves her trampoline! Doesn't she know that is a summer thing to do? ;-) At least she is feeling good

Hi Amy,
I can't even imagine how cold that feels like.
I'm glad Papaya is in a good mood and enjoying some warmth.
It's great she wanted to look outside the window.
I love it when Lucy does that.
She used to sit on the window sill to look outside all the time when she was younger, but she's seldom interested now.
So it makes me very happy when she's interested in the outside world enough to jump up on the window sill (not one jump like she used to do of course).

Good afternoon Carla, Rachel, Kim, Tara and Mariko! I am happy to be back inside, it is just disgustingly cold out there - the snow squeaks when you step on it and the roads seem bumpier because the car is stiff too! Now I hear snoring from the middle of the quilts piled on the couch so I can tell Papaya is cozy in there I said I'd be happy with a PMPS below 500 . . . and she gave me 441. A long ways to go but at least a little bit lower bounce :roll:

Mariko - I felt the same way about Papaya wanting to look out, happy that she was interested! She's been playing in a cardboard box lots lately so that's good too.
