Tons more good vetty vines coming your way. Always a worry when the cats with normally good appy are off their fuds. :bighug:

Yes, Seinne, special appy and be well vines flowing from here to there. Oh, and vetty vines, too.

Please keep us posted. We're pretty fond of Gizmo's girl-toy.

Vet visit went fine. Gabby is still losing weight so she has an appetite stimulant. Blood was drawn and the results will be back tomorrow. The ultrasound from a few weeks ago was suggestive of IBD and the vet didn't notice any masses on physical exam. If her kidney values look stable, we'll start her on prednisolone. I'm also getting a blood pressure med compounded since the previous med didn't seem to agree with Gabby.

Good news on no masses. What is the appy stimulant? Did you discuss Cerenia? It seems help with IBD and appy issues.

The cerenia has several benefits, not just anti-nausea. Anne can explain it better than me. Seems to work well for IBD.

1 of mine is on cerenia when needed--the nice thing is can be injectable especially if they aren't eating etc… but if you do injectable refrigerate as it may sting--

And some more vines from us. We hope that the lab results will help get to the bottom of what might be the problem.

Eat yer fuds, Gabby!

@Anne & Zener GA - Liz -- I know it has anti-inflammatory properties which is why it may help with IBD. I need to go slow with the meds since we're starting her on a new anti-hypertensive. I don't want to change too much at once.

I think there are some pain relieving properties too. I'm sure you know all about it, but other people might not. Good idea to go slow on the meds and see what helps and what doesn't.
